So basically, Lex is off the show, and replaced with some ugly chick playing Tess. She's sufficiently bitchy though.

Green Arrow is a mainstay now, and there's an infant Justice League thing going on here. His team is basically him, Aquaman, and Black Canary.

She's pretty hot, but they haven't shown her much.

Clark is a Daily Planet employee now. He still doesn't have a suit.

The people making the show said they never wanted Supes in his outfit.

That said, I'm glad I stopped watching, the stories with Lex were going downhill and honestly Rosenbaum was the only reason left to watch the show.

Yeah, Rosenbaum is very good. I hope to see him in other things..

I'll stick around though. I'm basically just watching True Blood and Californication. Might as well cram this in there for a bit.

You would probably like Supernatural. Start with season 1.

Well, if it's that easy.

You would probably like coming to Austin, letting me punch you in the face for $100 and then buying me beer on 6th St. Though, I could just go for the beer instead if the punching in the face is a little forward.

So bored.

I'm bored too, man. No, actually, I'm just pissed for a variety of things and bringing boredom upon myself. Believe me though, you have it better there than here. Austin's cool.

Sorry that shit ain't cracking up up there at the moment... You should CSR for Blizzard...maybe that'll be exciting. Haha.

[edit] Actually, have you tried Dell... especially their server/hosting shit? Or is Roundrock too out of the way for ya?

I would rather let a chihuahua chew on my balls then work CSR for Blizzard. Or for Blizzard in any capacity really. The last thing I want is to ruin the magic of Diablo for myself.

I don't really want to try Dell. I'm trying to stay out of the support thing if possible for a year or so.

They couldn't even if they wanted to.

I have a feeling we are gonna see a full blown Superman.  I think it'll be in the series finale though.

Won't happen because of trademark and copyright issues (same reason why no suit).

I knew that was part of it...  but I thought it was the original producers, who left the show last year, that took the hardline on no costume and flying.

Given the success, Trippy, I'm pretty sure that the 'legal' argument is totally moot at this point. They could fix that clause in seconds with a pile of money.

Success.. Yeah, I'm surprised that this has been going on for 8 seasons already. That's pretty rare. If they're going to show off anything resembling "Superman" though, they better hurry. 8 seasons is pushing it.

Well sure if the owners of the show were willing to cough up a ton of money to WB I'm sure something could be arranged.

So is anybody still watching this? Anything good happening? I've missed this season so far and while I used to love the show, I strangely have no interest in tuning in anymore.

I've watched Smallville since it started.  This season hasn't been too bad, but it's definitely going farther down the actual Superman story then about the whole Clark and Lana thing.  Now it actually has the whole Clark and Lois thing going, as well as the beginnings of the Justice League.

The show hasn't always been great but it was pretty much the only superhero show worth watching til Heroes.. and I actually probably like Smallville more then Heroes at this point.

Is Lana dead? That is the only thing that would bring me back to this show.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

The character isn't dead, but took off on a more permanent note.. The actress is no longer part of the cast. Nor is Lex.

The last episode featured the introduction of Maxima, she was pretty much used to show the growing attraction between Lois and Clark.

Last night's Smallville was awesome. I've heard they're actually considering doing another season and if they can keep it to this level I think they should get it.

Was a great episode, really liked how they incorporated the Legion.  This whole season has been pretty good though, since they ditched the original producers, it's definitely gone more into a true superhero TV show then Dawson's Creek.

Just want to say, I stopped watching because they turned Rosenbaum as Lex into a helpless yutz and he was my favorite character - by a fair margin.

The wonderfulness of getting rid of Lana kind of balanced out the suckiness of losing Lex.
