Saw a few episodes on Hulu but didn't care for it. Do some people find it funny?

Sunny is a funny fucking show. It's like Seinfeld with all sense of propriety and social grace removed.

It's eerily like my group of friends in college, only with that veneer of palatability required for television.  Also hilarious.

I started watching this on Hulu a week or so ago. The one where the gang starts going to abortion clinic rallies to hit on women was funny.

How in the holy hell is this not on the front page?

In my book, South Park and It's always Sunny are the two funniest shows on television right now. T-minus 30 minutes till lift off.

I've missed too much of it to start watching it now. I don't get any of the in-jokes.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

I don't think you really need to watch it to get the in-jokes. They really aren't in-jokes, because the characters are often doing weird things just in that episode. Not really much continuity to it.

These recent few episodes are probably much funnier when you know the character histories, particularly of Rickety Cricket and The Waitress.  Nothing really vital, though.  Artemis, for example, doesn't have much of a history.

You can buy reasonably priced collections of the first 3 seasons of It's Always Sunny in stores now....

It was good to catch up on all the in jokes,  especially season I've only seen portions of Season 3 and most of Season 4.

The episode in Season 2 when Charlie's big plan to get the Waitress backfires and the show ends with a close up of Charlie crying?  Heartwrenching.

Goddamn, that season finale was just so fucking funny and sad. Mac's cat eyes and the whole rape scene were just hysterical. I can't stop singing that song.

NECRO!

Starting back up this Thursday. Tivo is set. I'm stoked enough I haven't deleted the reruns my Tivo recorded this weekend, just to watch them all over again. The one where Dee and Dennis get addicted to crack so they can get on welfare is priceless.

Well, that episode was thoroughly mediocre.  Except for when the gang discovers the family in the house, and Dennis goes into what they won't do to them.

For me the episode was redeemed at the end when they merged and all started showing up at the pool.

Good god product placement.  I don't know that I've ever seen it that bad.  That said Frank trying to hang himself was hilarious.

This new season has been much better now that they've gone back to the gang just being their funny selves rather than getting into incredibly wacky situations.  Its kinda sad but both the D.E.N.N.I.S and the M.A.C systems would be incredibly succesful.

I asked for season one of this for Christmas because I couldn't think of anything I hadn't already bought myself that I wanted so I asked for things which I might not like.  I asked for this based only on seeing this thread bumped and one animated gif in some other thread, I had never seen a single episode but received seasons one, two, four and a Christmas special.

Best gamble ever.  This has got to be the funniest show I have ever seen, something about it rips apart my flesh and hits my very soul.  I am ashamed that I have only now learned of how incredible this show is and yet pleased that I have over four seasons to burn through on my holidays and laugh myself stupid.

I got the season four dvd and the christmas special for christmas, best present this year.  Specially after i saw that the season four dvd has a live performance of the Nightman Cometh as one of the extras, i was so pissed at having missed it.

I thought this last season started off kind of weak with the first couple episodes but ended up awesome.

The christmas special was fucking hilarious.  Charlie and Mac's fucked up family christmas traditions specially.  I peed a little during the Santa scene at the mall.

It took me awhile to get into this show, several episodes before I "got it" and just let their retardedness wash over me like a lukewarm sponge.

Then in the second season, it took awhile before I was able to be ok with the total disconnect of Frank from what his character used to be.

Good show though.
