Ah great idea, so when you enemies see you in local, they will be able to see what you can fly, which will narrow down completely what shiptype you are in. Good thinking CCP, just one question... do the devs play the f**king game?

I'm at work, so can't watch the video now (at least not with sound on, which defeats the purpose  ) - are these certificates... optional? Or are they to become an integrated part of "Show pilot info"? If so, I'm totally going to skill all race's titans/doomsdays and freak peeps out.

More stuff on walking in stations: http://www.stratics.com/php-bin/show_content.php?content=28880While an actual in-game demo of Walking in Stations will not be available until Fanfest this November, Ward was able to provide a few highlights of what the players can expect.
* Private captain's quarters where your character can customize their own space
* A common "promenade" similar to a "mall" atmosphere where players can socialize and access player run shops and corporation offices. These shops and offices will be potential business locations where player owned areas will earn ISK.
* The ability for players to have NPC characters "working" in their shops and offices (ie: a bouncer, receptionist) complete with custom conversation trees that the player can create!
* The ability for players to visit tattoo shops and plastic surgery offices to change their appearances. This option potentially will take the place of the official picture transfer available now.
* Your avatar will adopt a "mood" (ie: grumpy, happy, sad) which will then drive your facial expressions and emote movements as well as your interaction with other players. As the general mood of your character changes, the way he emotes and interacts with others, the way he talks, and even the way he walks will reflect that demeanor.

The quotes around "working" are there to appease the Minmatar whom I will pay with an occasional unkind word and the stagnant backwash of leftover Quafe cans.

This was one of my favorite features from SWG (which was otherwise so very broken) -- avatars actually emoting a bit instead of just standing around doing the same idle animation. I hope CCP also steals the feature where keywords in typed conversation trigger emote animations.
