Picked up my copy yesterday, while a coworker picked up the 360 version. The optional (2+GB, and takes for-fucking-ever) install speeds up loading times pretty significantly compared to the 360 version. Both versions play and look identical outside of that, save for Yoda being a cheap bastard.
Good times, but damn, my SC game is rusty and there's some changes from 2 that I haven't fully sorted out (never got around to picking up 3). To console myself, I spent damn near an hour dinking around in the character editor after unlocking some stuff in the tower.

I'm enjoying it. I got the PS3 version since if I had to have an extra Star Wars character I wanted Vader. Yoda was retarded, they should have done Obi-wan or Luke or even Anakin.
The game is great. I'm....rusty is the only word. I plan to work on the tower later and get more CAS stuff. I'm hoping the LE parts become DLC eventually since I want to make a chick in a maid and/or Japanese schoolgirl costume. Yeah, I'm one of those pervs.
I spent last night unlocking all the characters (bought most of them) and I think I have them all now except the mystery empty slot which I'm sure is a placeholder for the inevitable Yoda download.

Got it 20 minutes ago. In fact, what the hell am I doing here? The intro movie is a bit of a let down, everything else is  I just lost an online match which was surprisingly flawless and smooth and I am in love with Hilda, armored version. |

Ok, everyone unlocked and half the clothing unlocked. Have only gone through story with about half the people thus far. But this is pretty much on par if not better than SC1.

The apprentice kicked my ass until I got Vader's throw and choke move down. Then I literally choked the bitch to death.
Now I have discovered he is mucho fun to play and his lightning bolt attack is super easy to do.
Net effect? I'm looking forward to the force unleashed alot more now.

Ha ha I guess we know the target market of the Star Wars additions and giant boobs now.
It sounds like SC4 is pretty good as far as all the shit you can do in it but from what I hear the actual 2 player fighting isn't as good as in SC1 or 2. That's kind of how the series has been going for a while, adding more side stuff to do while the core vs. gameplay erodes slightly.

I am curious if the Clone Wars on the Wii will be any good since it seems to be a lightsaber dueling fighting game. My instinct says it is a rush job so probably not. I'm not sure if they got the fighting correct or not since I have yet to play a versus game with Vader vs Apprentice. I like what I experienced though when I did single player with the two of them. |
