1up has some new images of this.

Perhaps I'm becoming a softy in my old age but it actually looks pretty decent. (Considering it's a fucking lego game I mean)

Here's the link that you were too lazy to include in your post.

Still looks pretty light on Lego.

Part 4 shows a cool area that reminds me of Mario 64.

I like this game.  I grew up on legos so I think I'm going to give it a shot.

Goddamn.. no leveling; unlocks only AND you can have over 80,000 bricks on a character for a "build anything you want" mode? Fuuuuck I'm doomed.

That builder tool looked pretty damn slick, too.

Not good. I can see myself trying this especially after the video clip. It couldn't be worse than Toontown or WAR could it?

More importantly... it's Lego - the brand name is going to carry this a long way.

No one here has ever questioned the brand name, we've only questioned Net Devil and their shoddy track record. Third time is a charm though, right?

I'm in.  Other than driving games, I play Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones more than any other title on my PS2.

Yes... I still play on a PS2.

That PA comic was pretty funny, I remember having a good laugh back then.

Movies look surprisingly cool, and I'm in the crowd that still builds LEGO too (and the kids love it), soo... I'm kind of sold already.

Good shit hope it goes well and eventually leads to some awesome games for us to play, remember to stay somewhat jaded and skeptical so that if you ever rise to a position where somebody might listen to you your still capable of pointing out some of the stupid shit all games try to do.

This lego game looks amazing in videos, too amazing to be real.

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.

Actually the type of whinging skepticism that this site jammed into my head repeatedly served me well in explaining during my interview how in the hell a drywaller is in any way appropriate for getting my new job. thanks guys, you're the best.

Grats man.

Random Netdevil question, how hands on is Scott Brown?  Not that you would know, I'm just curious.  He seemed like a cool dude when I spoke to him for a few minutes at a Comic Con.

I am sure he is pretty cool. I am sure I have met him, or at least walked by him plenty of times. Who knows!

Anyway.

I'm definitely having fun being a complete lackey scrub for the first time in my life since I was about 20. I'd talk about the game but blah blah NDA

The playing with legos is actually extremely fun. For a couple of days now I have very precisely wasted the entirety of my alloted break time collecting legos, then tooling around with them on my lunch break.  I'm hardcoded to always want to be working, always, so it's hard enough to get myself to take the time I am allowed not to work and not work through it and augh

But yes, the legos help with that.

I already have a prototype for a frank lloyd wright stained glass piece. But it's a pretty grandiose scheme. It'll have to wait till I can start showing up early.

Goddamnit, that was a serious fucking brain fart. Mondrian is who I meant. I can't even claim fatigue or drunkenness, just impatience.
