Schild, at level 3, very badly burnt. Just as he's about to go into Tortage. This is what happens when you get lit on fire too many times. And it's disgusting.

Really? How long does that last? lol.

So is the intent there to surprise the cockfags, or is he a cockfag who surprises others?

probably the wrong spot to ask, but anyone know where one is pected to place the painting one gets as one of the Tortage quests? Is there individual player housing that I missed somewhere along the line?

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

One of the best character models I've seen in any MMORPG.

Love the visuals in this game.  Only complaint is that I have to adjust gamma way up to see anything at all at night :P

Unlike EQ2 and most Turbine games the clothes/armor actually look 3D which is a big plus in my book.

Oh - the armor being a model instead of a skin is great. But something just looks...wrong to me.

So is the intent there to surprise the cockfags, or is he a cockfag who surprises others?

I think the intent is to suprise the cockfags. As in Surprise, Cockfags!

Not my char, but was sent to me and I laughed. Even better is his wife, who takes such care and time deciding her chars name, has a lovely <Surprise Cockfags> under her name at the moment.

The texture work (normal, spec, and color) of armor is FANTASTIC. There is some real talent here, technical and artistic. also, all innovatory icons use the real 3d model (ala SWG) +1 funcom!

I noticed this - EQ2 and LoTRO both look flat to me in comparison.  Even WoW looks less flat than EQ2 and LoTRO.  CoX looks flat as well.

What is responsible for flatness?

AoC doesn't have it.  Oblivion didn't either.

I like non-flat.

Damn...I've been resisting this game because I figure you guys will get bored in a month anyway, but it's beautiful.

In D&D Online the armor looked literally painted onto the skin, it wasn't clear to me that it even had a separate model at all.

Technically that's the question - do you have an actual 3D model for the armor or not? Beyond that it's just the skill of the modeller.

This is the first game I look at that is clearly better than FFXI graphically.

I wouldn't doubt that the armor is 3D. And any other little objects for that matter. Else the game wouldn't be so demanding.
