Oh and I wish I had superjump....

HAH! Great comment. I miss flight and superjump when I play Planetside. Damn those two powers are great fun.

I have never played WoW.

They released some information regarding class and race differentiation. I think I saw the blurb posted at anyuzer.com. Anyway, what are the opinions of people who have actually played the game and can voice more eddd-u-kated opinions regarding those plans?

Are you talking about this? Or has something even more detailed been posted since yesterday?

The game has been virtually unplayable today on both servers.  I get booted to character selection about every 5 or 10 minutes.  I finally gave up.  I went to check on the official boards but there were too many threads bitching about too many different things that I gave up there, too.  I'm not sure my brain can absorb that many complaints without suffering damage.

Yeah yesterday's patch really screwed things up and the hotfix later that night didn't fix it.

I'll just download the patch so on the 25th (the patch when the start the character individualization), the download won't be as bad.  Though I might check out to see if they fixed the whole memory thing, they said in yesterday's update that the somewhat optomized how much memory the client uses.

You should break out an abacus and have some old school mathematical fun.

You can forget soloing since the last patch, every bloody solo mob has 2 up arrows now. I'm holding out to the vain hope that it was a bug introduced by the patch but if it's intended we now have a more group orientated game than original eq.

Quite funny listening to the squeals of people on the chat channel during one of the numerous server outages though.

I'm not seeing that at the low levels (<15) on your typical yard trash mobs. I did see the change on some special named mobs like Rockbelly.

I guess they don't want you to just go around killing things, and instead quest.  But, as we learned in .Hack Sign, an MMORPG is all about choice.
