More like turkeys to that end. Never in my life did I think that of all the places I have lived in the USA, that I would see wild fucking turkeys in my front yard in Pittsburgh, PA. But yeah, seeing them fly around is something pretty awesome... but not National Bird awesome.  Turkeys are a better national bird than the bald eagle, but eh. But yeah, turkeys in the city. Not quite Pitt, but I do live in a city! Couple years ago... |

I can't speak to the broken (now fixed) link, but I was watching Apollo 13, and googling some stuff about the moon landings. If you can't see the awesome in a man taking a walk on the moon (using 60's era technology to get there!  ) I pity you. |

I thought it might just be attached to a buoy so the folks on the surface knew where to find them.
It is attached to a buoy - which keeps it upright and prevents her from falling to the bottom at 1000fps. The air tank on the front pumps air into the bubble and I think it has a car battery to run the propulsion fan. |
