That should go in Funny Pictures.

It's a tossup, but a tank being driven by guys in bad robot costumes is pretty fucking awesome, it needs to be the standard tanker uniform imo.

You're not even sure?

It's pretty in that picture pretty way, but keep in mind that it's filled with Norwegians.  I can't imagine retiring someplace filled with nothing but Norwegians.  Well, at during off season, and off season is too much time anywhere north of Bergen, which is already too north of anywhere.  At least it wouldn't be filled with people from my family - which is a big plus.  Don't get me wrong, I love Norwegians.  Mostly.  I just don't want to live any place that's filled with them.

That was funny and awesome. I know you can't read human emotions on a mountain lion's face, but it really does look like he came back to say "thanks, asshole".

The timestamps are an hour and a half apart.  I think he finished things with the deer before coming back to glare at the camera.  Or possibly pose for it.

One clean cat... though an hour I might be able to buy it having enough time to groom itself after a blood feast.

And I too think they are very pretty... but I am impartial to bigger felines with proportional sized heads.

At least the lulz that was being aimed for was apparent before closer inspection ruined the moment.

Err, nice in that they'll give you a running start before they rip your throat out?

Having said that, I think they are very beautiful as well, even if they scare the shit out of me.

I think being a bit scared, or at least cautious, of them is probably healthy!  Even tiny wee cute little 8 lb feral cats from the Jersey shore plot to rip your face off at first chance.  There was a story in the local papers when I lived in NJ about exactly that.  It was pretty gruesome, too.

Cougars aren't interested in "fair fights", they'll attack kids, but usually leave adults alone unless you do something stupid like run or cower.  Make yourself big and scary and it'll back down.

Yeah, thats what they always told me, but then I was reading that the #1 thing they prey on in Yellowstone are fucking Elk.  Elk are fucking massive, and can do a lot of damage themselves.

Having said that, I've lived through the several times I've encountered them in the wild (all as a kid or young adult no less), so they really aren't that aggressive.  Still doesn't stop them from scaring the hell out of me.   awesome, for real

Pretty sure it's Lofoten in Norway. I took a trip up there last summer, but of course the weather had to be shitty the THREE days I was in the area, so my pictures sucked. I'm going back there this summer.

I'm not sure exactly where in Lofoten it might be (or hell, even if it's IN Lofoten), but I think it's somewhere around Moskenes on http://maps.google.no/?ie=UTF8&ll=67.958148,12.722168&spn=1.849488,10.546875&z=8
