A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation. -William Gibson

We should find out more about pirates and see what drove them to a life of crime before we judge them as a community.

He asked what drove them to the Pirate lifestyle not a summary of a Pirate's day.

That is the British Naval tradition. I figure after a few years of that, they go AWOL and start getting buggered for a profit at least.

Why did he have to spell truly wrong?

Truely 1. Can be used when at a loss for words. In an awkward silence, a more improved version of true.
Joe says "We should hang out more often,"
Suzie says "Truely,"

Obaen 1. Can be used anytime. A more improved version of Oban. Tale says "wtf?" Obaen says "Truely,"

Truely
Provocatively incorrect spelling of "truly."
Example: "In a truely breathtaking scene, the ship takes off." Secret origin: Coined by Matt Bielby. Note 1: The one infallible device for exposing a Matt Bielby impostor, say if there was a bit like at the end of that Yul Brynner spy movie or something. Note 2: See also cutsie. First used: AP01. AP was truely the Games Magazine of Champions.

Lost, in it's wildest dreams, could never be that awesome.

My first thought was, "The natives of Khali-Khali deeply regretted the decision to stop sacrificing virgins."

Kinda hard to see at the resolution, but it appears to be a trick of the eye. For one, I don't see a lot of folks running for their lives or their boats. That makes me think the storm may be behind that island (from the PoV of the camera) but a fair distance. It could be that the only person freaking out is the camera guy

Yeah, pretty sure from the shot its a perspective thing. The storm is actually behind the island some ways. Still doesn't stop it from being an awesome picture though.

I posted those already back during GDC! Bought them in Chinatown. Sitting on the shelf behind me.
Also, what's on the back of the box really makes it.
