Something different:

Nuclear explosion are always stunning, but I think this one looks extra nice.

Test "Licorne" - Unicorne. French TN-60 914 kiloton thermonuclear device, airburst at 500m.

The place it was tested, Muruoa, is pretty nice too. Not much tourism though...

Man, wanted to visit there when I was in Lithuania, but ran out of time.

Edit:  I highly recommend all the Baltic states in general for a visit.  Really pretty area with some amazing history.  Vilnius was the smallest of the capitols, but it is hilariously quirky and the people are funny\nice.

It'll take a few minutes, but eventually that person will reach the photographer and say "Sir, I'm sorry, but you are on private property and cannot take pictures here."

There's a whole Netflix "The Killing" style murder mystery series based on that locale called "Mar De Plastico"

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something.
