I have severe vertigo. I was sitting in a chair and those still made me nauseous enough that I had to skim by them.

No Nerf, but I put a link to this very thread and I said that you all can guarantee for my purity. I even mentioned your case, and see if they can take a look at your lawn from a Michigan perspective.

The one with the snow would make me nervous. I've done my share of stuff like the other ones; almost every time I've been arrested was for trespassing...
There's no Trespass law in Scotland. Is the line my brother uses every time he does something like this. You should meet him. Total cunt?

I think if you watch it expecting it to be funny it takes something away from it so I didn't want to put it there.

Indeed. It is a prime example of why anyone who thinks cartoons were better when they were kids is flat wrong.

MAD TV is sort of a toned-down Robot Chicken, and pretty good at being funny to all ages (with everything from sight gags for the little kids to meta-ironic humor for grownups). There was a vast wasteland of really crappy cartoons from about 1980 to 2005, so if you don't have children of your own you probably wouldn't have noticed the rebirth. --Dave

Hanna-Barbera put out a lot of crap cartoons in the 70's and 80's, when I was a kid.
Also, as Teleku noted, the 90's were great for cartoons. Besides Cartoon Network starting up in '91, the WB had a pretty awesome lineup there for a while as well.

Pirates of Dark Water vindicated Hanna Barbera... for a little while.

I loved Tom and Jerry until they sucked them into the HB pit of suck with the laffolympics and whatnot. Hell, they even had some Chuck Jones love. Really, HB wasn't too bad until the mid-70s.
But my childhood cartoons were all about the classic era WB, Looney Tunes and Merry Melodies. Everything else sucked, and then things went to hell when they tried putting plot and dialog into them.

I was never a big fan of Loony Toons. Daffy and some of the peripherial characters were about the only ones I could stand. The more modern stuff such as Tiny Toons and then Animaniacs were great, though, and I actually liked a lot of the Hanna Barbera stuff.

This picture taken through a special filter in a dark room shows, a cat, left, possessing a red fluorescent protein that makes the animal glow in the dark when exposed to ultraviolet rays, appearing next to a normal cloned cat, right, at Gyeongsang National University in Jinju, south of Seoul, South Korea, Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007. South Korean scientists have cloned cats that glow red when exposed to ultraviolet rays, an achievement that could help develop cures for human genetic diseases, the Science and Technology Ministry said. I thought this was awesome anyway.
