I haven't seen that before, and it is fantastically awesome!

EDIT - I just realized the last few pics I've saved from here to feature on my cube wall were from Tale.  Maybe I should just autosave the images he posts?

The NASA APOD site has a really cool image of earth today - click to see full size:

I created a set of background images from it, they came out nicely.

I've seen most of those tricks before (even done a few), but seeing them strung together so quickly threw me for a bit, until we got to the end and I realized it wasn't 4 guys doing them in rapid fire but about 12 tag-teaming them.

I saw this on reddit earlier, and yet I couldn't find an explanation why you need snipers at a sport event. Can anyone enlighten me?

Well that and Rich people don't feel safe anymore.   There's snipers at all major events now where large gatherings of rich people are it seems.  Concerts, sporting events, clam bakes.

Private assassins security; a growth industry.

Had an upcountry trip so I took some pictures. Too bad my camera is a crappy Olympus thing, which I'm looking to replace now.

Nope!  awesome, for real

EDIT: To clarify - it's probably the same reason that the girl is wearing a little wedding dress, and people wear wool hats and jackets in 90+ degree heat - it's Africa.

I made the Farcry 2 comment to Straz over Skype. I'm still trying to convince him contracting Malaria will add to the experience so long as the priest will give him meds for doing missions.
