Funny thing about HKO is, everyone in the industry keeps talking about integrating social networking into their games. What they are doing with HKO and sanriotown.com is light years ahead of most. And yet, nobody is talking about them.

Not that I've signed up or anything. ;)

Unless a MMO is grim and gritty with realistic physics and all your friends are playing it, it doesn't count as a MMO.

If it doesn't get me purple epics, I don't give a shit.

Anyone remember how you could network in SWG, and fill out useless shit like your blood type and favorite coffee flavoring?

Just go to myspace for that shit.

Shit. I said shit a lot in that post.

All of the original 20,000 founder accounts are full and they plan on making more because of such high demand.

Also, there's a website called TenTonHamster.com

I told my wife that I signed up for HKO and I think it cost me some sex.

Well, you'll be able to make up for that on HKO

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Who is playing this?

I just downloaded the client and started it.

Clicky clicky clicky.  Lots of mouse there.  I have a quest to gather 30 rare items.  Stand and click.

This is for kids, or seriously OCD people?

I play it sometimes.  My name is HelloSigne, of course.  So far, it really does appeal especially to my OCD side.  It's fun from time to time and cute all the time.

I thought I was going to get an email but apparently I'm supposed to stand in one spot and click-click-click until the page loads and I can get in.  I'll see about giving it a shot tonight.

My name is no longer HelloSigne, it's Trouble.  I deleted my character in a fit of mood.  I think I'm almost ready to play games that entail reflexes again.  Thankfully.

I miss Hellgate.  What I mean by "reflexes" is a game where when I'm the healer or something and I have to stop moving my hand, everyone doesn't die.  Something like that, nothing twitchy - just consistent movage.

You enjoying being the ultimate source of the fate of others?  Or you get bored real quick?

Maybe that wasn't a good example.  What I mean is that until my hand is sorted out properly, it gets hurty and tired easily and I'd probably watch everyone, including me, die in a game rather than help them if it meant more hurtiness to my hand which could be entertaining until someone shouted at me and kicked me from the group which would piss me off and I'd quit the guild and later someone would apologise and I'd apologise back and we'd get all teary-eyed and sentimental and start reminiscing about stuff and I hate when that happens.  Srsly.

Despite really loving Diablo 2, I didn't play it that much and that's why.

The Horadric cube and gem gathering was one of the most brilliant ideas in a game yet.  I'd play just to find more gems to put together.

To get this back to topic - maybe HKO will incorporate the idea!

I am excited to say that I am currently installing HKO on my computer. Yes, that's right. Aeria for the win, or at least, the minor diversion. Hope it doesn't bluescreen my shit.
