A sweet Vertigo book by the author of Lucifer, it is up to its ears in awesome, based around Japanese folklore (all of the gods and demons and spirits and whatnot) in the modern age. And it isn't selling for shit. My local comic store is apparently selling just one copy per issue. It's a weird comic that is very lacking in spandex brigade, so none of the nerds are buying it. This must not be allowed to continue, 'cause eventually Marvel'll pull the plug on it.
Marvel's become so powerful that they now have the authority to pull the plug on Vertigo books?
I had to give you shit on it, or else someone else would've come along and done it.
That the saints may enjoy their beatitude and the grace of God more abundantly they are permitted to see the punishment of the damned in hell. -Saint Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologica
Marvel has become such an awful shitpile in my mind that when I thought of a good book getting canceled, Marvel was the name that popped into my head. Oops.
