Ya, I'm still debating this gateway for a home pc replacement since mine is all wacky these days.

God I hate Gateways.  I wouldn't buy one for my own mother, I don't know why I'm even considering it.

Because the price is damn hard to beat. cry

Let's all say it together and maybe it will help:  It's a Gateway.

I don't much care what I have as long as it runs whatever games I want to play.  Stupid things aren't good for anything else, anyway!

Which is the exact reason to not buy a refurbished Gateway.  They ran out while I was in a meeting, so dodged that bullet!

Stolen from FW.
Go to woot.com
Click on the overstock.com link
You will have a $37 credit in your shopping cart that will show up when you add an item OVER $37.
ITEM MUST BE OVER $37-not a combination of items
One per account.

Happy shopping!

Or the link from Shadowguard should work!

http://slickdeals.net/?sduid=4844...cid=131479

Don't know if this is a bug and they'll catch on and there will be a fraud off, but it's 37 bucks, you know?  Buy yourself something nice for 38 bucks.

No, it's actually a deal between woot and overstock.  It doesn't seem to work on media items, though.  600+ TC sheets FTW!

I know, overstock.com sort of sucks.  I've bought sheets from there, some nice ones, too.  This time I bought a steam cleaner and some cooker top covers.  But, still, it's $37 off on something.  Buy a game or a neon light palm tree or sommat.

All those 37 bucks off orders will be canceled.

Why?  I checked on woot.com and it seemed legitimate but then so do time shares unless you've read the contract.  They sent me this:

Your order was successful!

Yes it is a bug. It was supposed to be 37 dollars off the nightstand that was linked, not 37 dollars off whatever you wanted. There is a 40 page thread on it over at slickdeals.net.

Aha!  Oh well.  Someone was saying they thought it might be a bug.  I did go over and read some of the end of that thread.  I hadn't bothered because it was something like 37 pages long and I'm not getting any younger.  They didn't have the colour I wanted anyway so I settled.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe
