Hmm... did anyone notice theres absolutely no benefit to dual wielding since all you do is simply alternate which weapon you swing? Besides that which i can forgive in a beta the game if pretty fun, if a little slow.

It's only beneficial if you get the improved dual wield talent, so you swing faster. |

Early level Pyromancers rock the shit out of everything. Give me HP pots and I'm a damage machine. Also, I've noticed that wand damage is kinda imba. I found a nifty wand from a drop and now I one/twoshot everything.

Sad. I was rather enjoying the LOOTLOOTLOOTOMGLOOT aspect of the game. Plus, my wand of purple triangle shooty things coupled with my flaming nature was making me chuckle from time to time.

The current content is only act 1 or part of act 1. So one would assume it would be easy. I find the pacing to be a little slower then Diablo 2. They should increase the damage (character weapon/spell) and mob size. Remember this is an action RPG not WoW or EQ clone. |

Mythos testers! Tonight we will be upgrading a bunch of network equipment at our data center, and Mythos will be down from 8:00pm to approximately midnight Pacific Time. Seems it'll be up tonight. Are you guys playing together at all in general? I liked the game early on but I got bored of it due to having to play alone. I might show up for some grouping action though. |

Theres some glitchy shit going on with characters getting stuck on loading screens to some areas, make sure you open up port 5001 in windows firewall/your router if it happens to you. Aside from lots of annoying little glitches, I'm having a blast with it, even though the spec I took is almost entirely useless.
Tip for beginners: Put ALL your stat points into your classes main stat for the first 7 or so levels, there is nothing but useless shit until you break the 50 mark, good weapons start showing up in the 70s.
Find me ingame if you need a hand with anything, I've always got some extra stuff in vault.

I played a bit of this, and attempted to make a minion-master-ish Bloodletter. But my little minions suck too much to be any sort of shield for me. Sure they can do damage well enough, but once a boss pops them a couple of times they're down. If I run out of corpses or mana I am screwed. And focusing on Minion talents leaves me sucking when left to my own devices. I shall try a different class next romp.

Take the piercing teeth (or whatever they renamed it to) skill tree all the way down, you get bullet fragments+bounces and it basically lets you clear multiple rooms with 1 or 2 shots.

Grenades were kinda fun on my latest gunner guy. Too bad he got bugged and can't start one of the main quests so gonna reroll him anyway. Just need a way to transfer some of his equipment that I don't really want to lose. |
