I missed the chapter in the New Baby book about killing people in closed quarters - is it before or after the bit about treating nappy rash? Keeping my mouth shut, on the other hand, is something I learnt to do quite well shortly after getting married. Congratulations on the boy btw. |

Yes. Ched, first congrats, second invest in protective gear. Boys are a world of difference from girls. My wife blames me for my son and his physical nature. I say after 4 boy nephews it's just their nature. My son's a lot more fun than my daughter as he rough houses more than her, but damn sometimes he just won't stop! Tomboy that she is, my daughter doesn't play even half as rough as he likes it, either. Getting low to the ground in any way is an invitation to run over, jump-on, hit, or physically accost dad. The girl just wants to race and compete, the boy.. he wants to beat the crap out of dad. Oh the fun you'll have! |

I reckon if I didn't have Elena I'd be locked up on multiple counts of GBH. After a certain age, life for its own sake loses much of the attraction.
