Aaaaaactually, its not the SAM. ; the building you're seeing through the donut is the Seattle Asian Museum. The donut is in Volunteer park, which used to be a huuuge cruising park, so the donut was affectionately called the sphincter by us locals.

I believe so, yes, but they're in different locations. The SAM proper is downtown, the SAAM, as its acronym goes, is on Capitol Hill. |
