Ren fair this past weekend along with labor day fireworks.   It was too cold for bosom shots as most were covered-up. So sad.

Wonder if this will work...

May need to be logged into FB to see.  If it's not working, screw it, here's the link to my mobile uploads, the pic of the flowers.

Is that a picture of the flowers behind the actual flowers with a pair of 3D glasses above them? Did you first look through the glasses to see if the picture would become reality and then it did?  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

LOL!  No, it's a picture of someone planting seeds with an inspirational message.  The cheap 3D glasses are from a conference my manager went to on it's last day and the vendors were handing out swag like mad, so he was giving those out as a joke.

Walking through the parking lot after work yesterday I noticed this pile of trash.  The collection of elements amused me so I snapped a few shots.

I can't think of a good title but my first thought was, "someone had a rough week."

Haha. Reminds me of the time my girlfriend and I were in the supermarket checkout queue on a Friday afternoon and noticed the teenage lad in front of us who's shopping consisted of a 4 litres of cheap orange juice, 1 litre of very cheap vodka and a 24-pack of condoms. We giggled like children.

Did a little outing with the Urban Pirates this morning.  It's cute, and the kids really love it.   I took advantage of the opportunity to shoot the Inner Harbor from the water.

Took our semi-annual walk through Trenton Falls. Beautiful weekend to have 5 days off. And I spent the day with my fiancee despite  NDA!

Need to get a new camera. The corners are getting all blurry and there is a white pixel on it now. The autofocus is shot and it's never been good in low light.

Fall is the number one thing I miss from Michigan. I sometimes think of taking a trip back home to Michigan in the Fall just for cider mills and the colors.

I find life much less enjoyable without four real seasons. There's a natural rhythm that I love, a certain order it brings to the mind and soul.

I'll just leave this here. It's from my shitty work blackberry, but it's still a picture of the beach, as bland as it is...in December.
PS: Yes, I know I have hairy legs. It saves me money from not using sunblock.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Just a simple iPhone 4 photo, taken today.  I took my kid to Lincoln Park in West Seattle, looking south onto the ferry to Vashon Island.  It was a majestic day; the Sound and the Olympics looked like something from Lord of the Rings.

Sago Palms (I've got five in my front yard) do have a very interesting look when producing seeds.  The texture is funky, too.

Set up a 2nd, different Flickr for myself, started to put more of my recent photos there, but also some of my favorite old P&S photos that are lower quality in some respects.

I still love this one of my daughter from ages ago.

OK, I'll be humble and post this here instead of in the Awesome Pictures thread, even though I think it is.  My wife says she thinks she can see Whoville in there.

Assuming I figure out how to post pictures that is.

Rather than something new, here is an update of the pic of a flower I snapped with my phone and posted back in August.  Lightly processed and resized down to my monitor's native resolution.  Odd that it's roughly half the pixel size of the original and double the bytes, but I guess that's the difference between lossy jpg and lossless png.

Yes, I know I'm paranoid, but am I paranoid enough?

Just got back from a trip out to Gatlinburg where I managed to do a few brief hikes in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  And basically spent a great deal of time cursing that I didn't bring a tripod.

Lovely.  I always enjoyed going to the Smokies.

It's some damn pretty countryside to say the least.  I had a 3 and 1 yr old with me, so we were pretty limited with just how much hiking/exploring we could do (a mile up to the farmstead http://www.hikinginthesmokys.com/brushy_mountain_trail.htm was about the most the kids could handle, and even that involved some carrying the 3 yr old) and the views were still pretty astonishing.
