Just got through the compendium that collects #1-48.  Yeah the middle parts were really dragging on but I slogged through it.

#48 (or end of vol. 8 for the tpb). Holy fuck.    I almost put it down for good it was so depressing but then went and picked up volumes 9 & 10 but haven't got through them yet.

I don't think it's a book I could enjoy getting single issues, so I stick to the collected volumes which make some of the slower parts easier to take.

I haven't read this comic in over a year, but the tv series should be good. Just can't quit the zombies.
