Saw it a few weeks ago and all I could think was "This is awesome, but it's a million times more awesome with Erasure blaring."

There's a guy in that photo that looked like he time traveled back to the 50's from current day.

Best I've done is 1:10 - but most of my times are at least 10 seconds slower than that.

Have you tried the internet? It's made out of millions of people missing the point of everything and then getting angry about it

I got 1:06 once.  You get a huge speed boost for breaking through the clouds, so if you can keep slamming off the flying things and getting that boost you can keep your speed pegged pretty high.

1:07 is my best. Lucky cloud slam into hang glider and a pogo at the end to eat up a lot of time.

I just did 1:09 which is my best time so far.  Oddly, it happened when I had to get up from the computer just after the second door and let my guy flop through the third stage on his own.

I don't get it.

At all.

Which for some reason infuriates me to no end.

What am I supposed to do in the 2nd level ?

edit: duh... got it. Games like this are probably not for me. My brain hurts.

I got past the first few but even just the first tier of more complex puzzles is really hurting my brain.  And my ego.

That bison thing is addicting.

Also it appears to be a semi-knockoff of one of my favorite wacky shockwave games, which I can't remember the name of...something crash. Japanese thing, really weird.

Manufactoria is not my deal.  I have to get my brain crunched all day at work.  Burrito Bison is much more my mindless cup of tea.

Nanaka Crash or something?  I remember that one.  Burrito Bison is superior in all ways, though.

1:04 even, ugh, was "Pants On Fire" fast the whole last section and up in the clouds most of the time. Needed a better launch I guess. Got all the achievements and all the powerups, guess it is time to try another game!

Argh.  Manufactoria's inability to have paths cross over each other is driving me nuts.  I have the state machine in my head, but I can't seem to implement it in two dimensions.  (I'm on the RoboMecha level, where the output needs to be the input with the last item shifted to the beginning.)

(edit) Ha. HAAAA!   I got it, and I am so fucking proud of myself that I have to share.  Spoiler alert!

Hint: When it's not possible to connect one part of your state machine to another, you have to DUPLICATE the part you want to connect to.  Fucking devilish.

I can't get my head around Robocats at all.

The annoying thing is I've done Robostilts, but I want to advance along both lines to master the techniques.  My head fucking hurts now.

Here's my Robomecha.

Sam, I never considered turning the switches so the robots are entering the switch thru one of the output sides, holy crap that saves a ton of space.
have fun with Androids, it's harder IMO.  I'm on Rocket Planes which I think I have a way to do, but have to wait till tomorrow to implement it bc I'm off to work.

Why don't you try our other games?

I had to trial and error it a bit, I'm starting to realise that it's all about the right numbers of loops.

 ACK!

 why so serious?

Maybe that'll make Androids a bit easier.  It's the last one I've got left in that tier.  I'm pretty sure the solution is going to be something inductive where the entire tape gets rewritten several times...

I hadn't thought of using conveyor belts to force bots back onto branch units; that helped me solve Milidogs.

Arg, you bastard.  I've been brooding over that one for an hour and clicking your spoiler made me realise how much of I tit I was not even using my own previous cleverness to fucking sort what is actually an easy problem.

Done now tho.

I would like to comment that if someone makes a MMOG where the crafting is something like Manufactoria but relies on solving uniquely generated problems (so you can't just look up a walkthrough), I will probably never be seen again.

I just completed Robomecha, but it said 'I got bored, you fucking suck, you don't have to try again, but I know you can do better'.

My ego is now in the toilet and I feel ashamed and slightly used.

I don't even want to post the monstrosity I built, nor click on the two solutions to Mecha that's been done for fear that I'll just top myself.
