Ha, What is really funny is that if you guys met me, you would never guess it's me. I'm super cooooool.

You're a self-absorbed artist who has admitted difficulty in grasping the differential between personal and electronic forms of expression, the latter of which has so far been singularly violent.  Fascinating in a Pollock way, I'm sure.

Wow, I must have really hit a soft spot here cause apparently, some of you folks take offense to jokes. I think that I can say that someone is acting like an ass if I conclude that they are. But I apologize if some of you got your feathers all ruffled. I just think it is weird that I would have to "get used" to some members being shit talking smart-asses,but you jump down my throat when I joke around.. ALSO I really do think that judging someone based on the way they spell there SN or their avatar is kinda silly too. But really, where did that self-absorbed artist thing come from? Random... So to be perfectly clear. YES I think that Ironwood was being an ass about the tattoo stuff. YES I am sure that one could get use to that kind of "sense of humor" NO I am not going to punch anyone, and YES punchy icons would be great.

Jesus fucking tapdancing Christ. Everyone shut up about the fucking tattoos already.  If tattoos are 'personal', why does anyone give a shit what other people think about them?

Someone misses the annual subscription to Internet Tough Guy.

Look, you have around 70 posts to my, well, I dunno - a fair few.  I've been around here and around these chaps for a long, long while and I've yet to be banned.  I know, no-one was more surprised than me.

I have some leeway here.  I like all these chaps in one form or another (Except Triforcer because He's Evil.)

Surprisingly, people are leaping to my defence here.  Again, surprise shared;  who knew.

Give it time.  You might get to really, really Loathe me.  Then at least it would have a point and be more than damn silly posturing.

I have views on tats that are kinda strange.  Who really, really gives a fuck ?

Well I don't want you to think that I have a problem with you in any way, other than you came off like an ass for a while there. But I don't think that punchy face icon jokes constitute the barrage of Marvel VS Capcom 2 style forum assists executed by the rest of these crazy guys. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike you at all, I just find it weird that your mountain of posts is like some sort of asshole license. But like I mentioned before, I am sure I will get used to it and come to accept and maybe even look forward to you stepping into a conversation and rocking the jerk power.

I think people here just really like General Zod and have trouble differentiating. If you ever change that avatar, you are so fucked...

As to HF!!, meh - its the nature of the beast. Every long term member here is a prick from time to time, but they've put in the hours to earn that right. New people need to tread a little lighter at first. And yes, people will hold a capatalized user name against you - even subconsiously.

So here's what I was thinking you should all get... Winger pictures on your back. Then walk around shirtless and when people ask you why, just say, "Do me a favor, take a look at your own back."

No matter what they say, your response is, "Exactly." (Well - unless they say "Wow that is the coolest tat ever, yiff me."

I specifically used all lower case so everyone takes me that much more seriously.

Well, I specifically type my SN like that on purpose. For starters, that is the SN schild knew from on SRK so I did it cause I knew he had seen it. I also started using that name at SRK for fighting game tournaments, specifically Third Strike tournaments in which I exclusively used Hugo, which is uncommon because of his low tier listing. His super art I use is called the Hammer Frenzy (hammer mountain in japan). When he uses it he screams it and it is just awesome. I just think the name  looks cool in a pool of player names who are all using top tier characters to see a Hugo player that is still trying to compete.

I think the whole capital letters in a SN thing is just silly. That really is a goofy reason to "subconsciously" feel the need to give someone crap. I am sure that you will all get over it.

I've noticed the same thing. Ever since I changed to the comic version of General Zod, I've gotten IM's from strangers telling me dark secrets. Some of them are VERY dark. right Strazos.....

Ironwood, Hammer got mad because you backed him into a corner having him defend a real life friend (Ookii) about a real life thing (tattoos) in a thread where you don't like the topic.

-1 (Assumptive).

Hammer Frenzy has posted at a number of boards. As we've seen, he's more likely to use all lower-case than all caps. That's not a defense, as all lower-case drives me more nuts than all caps (because caps is cruise control 4 cool, obviously).

My chain hath not been yanked. My name is in all lower-case (I'm glad you asked, since I don't think anyone else had asked before) so that people don't think it's pronounced S-child.

But as proven by this weekends meetup, the lettering does Not Matter. undecided

Yesterday, driving through the University of Washington campus, some youngish dude in huge dreadlocks, a face like a pirate and tatoos all up his arms crosses our path at a cross walk. My GF says, "Oh, that's so and so". I ask her where the heck she knows such a ruffian, and she says he works at the Nuclear Physics department. I assume she's talking about some student, or maybe an intern, but she says no, he's a tenured professor.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Already is glow-in-the-dark and fluorescent inks. On that note, a triforce on the hand is the gaming equivalent of barbwire on a guy or stars/butterflies on a girl.

If I'm getting a glowing yellow sierpinski triangle on my hand, I'm pretty far beyond caring what other people think about it.  It's an obvious tattoo to get, yeah, but it's still an iconic symbol that pleases me.

Not that it's really a factor anyways, on account of the lack of the technology for implanting an illuminated image into my skin.  Screw weak little fluorescent ink tattoos, even without taking the cancer part into consideration.

This thread is pretty fucking strange to read through from start to finish.

I don't think I would get a tat, my tastes change too much over time. But I'm a minor masochist so there's that. I think it would be cool to just get poked with the needle a lot.

To put it in perspective, I enjoy getting teeth pulled.

Well. That's something anyway. Personally I think the non-consensual sex discussion got shortchanged, but I guess that's what Politics is for. [that doesn't require green does it?]

Props to Gulp, the skellies are healing up nicely, very little scabbing or lotion required.
