I still play from time to time Capitalism 2 and Patrician 3. They are really old, but I can't seem to find anything new at least as good as those two. From the newer games I managed to enjoy for a few days SimCity4 and Industry Giant 2... and they are actually 6+ years old too (damn, time goes by so fast)

Monopoly.
Alternatively, invest in the stock market using e-trade.

Just got finished using this. Of course, it's really meant for students/teachers, but I've heard of cases of groups of people signing up with friends to have a go at it.

Business simulations are trivially simple to make in this economic climate, so I expect SimBailout will be with us sooner than later.

Reminds me of the FUND cheat/bug in SimCity 2000 for DOS.

BSG-Online... Not what I was hoping for. On the plus side though, the Business Academy at one of my schools may find it useful.

I was drinking when I wrote this, so sue me if it goes astray.

It's not actually "Online". Though they could make a boat load marketing that as a casual game for people who like spreadsheets and crunching numbers.

Wow i always thought of EVE that way too. The way they kept track of your 'employment history' in game. And the pay structures that every corporation that can have as well as logistics involved when building space stations. Although I never played it, it seemed 'believable' enough to exist in game.

Plus your corp will go defunct and the CEO will run off with all the assets, just like in real life!
