Can anyone link me to the program that will remove starforce. I am having a lot of problems with my DVD drive, and I want to see if that will help.

BTW. I did try the search, I couldnt find anything.

Found this.  Can't vouch for it working or not, though.

Really? Fuck. That's almost a good reason for infecting my PC with the Crotchrot.

God damnit, X-Men Legends II had StarForce too? Guess I'll take whatever Morphiend is having. Wish me luck :P.

X-Men Legends II does not have StarForce -- it uses SafeDisc.

I was just saying I got it on the cheap (XML2).

And FFv3R is definitely worth infecting your computer. It's not like you can't remove it when you're done.

Just an FYI for anyone who, like me, avoids buying games with Starforce:

X3: Reunion is now available without Starforce through Steam.

UFO: Aftershock is now available without Starforce through Gamer's Gate.

Now I'm only waiting for Space Rangers 2...

It's a tossup as to which one is worse, UFO: Aftershock or StarForce.

And thanks lots for giving me a new place to waste money.

Someone said there's a starforce-less exe for SR2 on gamecopyworld. I need to look that up when I get time to actually play SR2.

Well perhaps I won't get Aftershock and Victoria Revolutions. Since the Gamer's Gate credit card data entry page lacks a field for state/province, I can't get their billing data to match what my bank wants to see.

GG, nubs.
