1) On average 1.5, I go many months without buying any, but then there are those budget killer months as well. 2) about 18 or so. 3) amd 2500 w/high end vidcard (probably mostly wasted on that cpu), Xbox, Gamecube, Dreamcast 4) PC, by FAR due to the 15 years I have been gaming on it. My old disk games are all FUBAR because of basement mold though. Next would be dreamcast, FUCK that console had a lot of good games if you searched for them (most good ones had ZERO advertising), but I don't really play the dreamcast any more than maybe every other month, so next after THAT is xbox.
Favorite genre? Man, that is a bitch for me to answer because in general I think ALL genre games suck ass. It is the games that defy genre that are most worth playing. If I am playing an FPS I want RPG elements, or mix in some squad based tactics like swat4. If I am playing an RTS I want action elements or mix in some REAL strategy with turn based elements ala medieval total war.
The only genre that I really prefer pure is RPGs, I want the turn based combat like in ToEE, not the pseudo realtime SHIT in nwn. The problem with RPGs is that they are getting too long for the amount of gametime I have these days.
I will go with RPG as my favorite genre I guess. FPS probably next, but it needs more than just PURE FPS.
...do you buy per month?
per year?
What systems do you own, including portable (from this generation)?
Which system do you have the most games for? 2nd most?
My answers: 1. 3-6 2. Probably 80-100 or so. August and November/December kill me. 3. Pentium IV/GeforceFX, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, GBA, GBA SP, PSP, and NGage QD. 4. PS2 - Xbox.
Thanks.
Edit: Let's add genre to this. Also, assuming MMORPGs are a given, pick another genre.

1. 2-6 2. 25-50ish depending on releases that year. 3. Pentium IV, Xbox 4. PC, Xbox.Haven't bought an Xbox game in ages,I don't see the point as they can usually be finished in 3 to 4 days so I just rent anything that looks interesting. 5.Usually have two to four MMO subs going at once.Favorite game types would be RPG's,RTS,world sim god type games,I like the odd FPS but I wouldn't consider it a favorite genre, anything Bioware releases.

1. 0.41 2. 5 or so, 0 so far in 2005. 3. PC, Xbox, GC 4. PC 5. TBS, RPG, Online FPS
What I bought in 2005: GTA:SA (PC), Battlefield 2 (PC), Civilization 4 (PC), Eve Online (PC), Jade Empire (Xbox). So just about as I estimated. Got 2 games for xmas that I otherwise would have bought, Silent Storm Gold and Gothic II Gold (both PC).
