...do you buy per month?
per year?
What systems do you own, including portable (from this generation)?
Which system do you have the most games for? 2nd most?
My answers: 1. 3-6 2. Probably 80-100 or so. August and November/December kill me. 3. Pentium IV/GeforceFX, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, GBA, GBA SP, PSP, and NGage QD. 4. PS2 - Xbox.
Thanks.
Edit: Let's add genre to this. Also, assuming MMORPGs are a given, pick another genre.

1. Games per month: 1 2. Games per year: Multiply that by 12. So, 12. 3. Systems owned (this gen): PC, Xbox, PSP, GC. 4. Most Games on: PC (well, about less than half are legit), GC (had it for longer) 5. All things RPG if I can. Otherwise, I find myself buying stuff like Eternal Darkness, Beyond Good and Evil, stuff of that vein. As for what I play, mostly MMORPGs (hello, WoW addict) but I only end up buying 1, maybe 2 a year.

(For my two-person household) 1. Bought two this month (console), but might pick up Gods of War soon. Last month I think we got 3 (one console, two PC), January, February and March were slow, but we got like 5 or 6 in December. Average 2.
2. Probably around 15-20 per year.
3. PS2, GC, GBA-SP and a PC (sorry, I don't know what OS. The boyfriend recently gave it new mojo.). Will likely buy the XBox soon, as I don't really feel like waiting to play Psychonauts on the PS2, and I don't wanna play it on the PC. Also, Conker: Live and Reloaded will warrant having the XBox.
(My boyfriend is the primary user of the PC, because I get sick of sitting so damn close to the monitor, and the geek room is tiny so we can't move shit around. I prefer to play on the big-ass tv instead.)
4. Most games: PS2, second most, GC.
I don't play MMOGs. My most oft-played genre is currently turn-based RPG, but my favorite is adventure, followed closely by platform. The boyfriend seems to mostly play MMORPGs, followed by FPSs.

1. I buy games in binges. I'll skip a few months then go buy a bunch of shit at EB. 2. Per year, that varies due to increasing wife-time and, of course, the boy. I'd guess I'll end up with 20-30 new ones by the end of this year. Hard to say since my wife is converting all of our cash into rubber stamps in anticipation of The End Times. 3. I'll just list the ones that are ready to run: PS2, Cube, GBA, Xbox, PC. Everything else would require some effort to fire up. 4. Most stuff for PC, assuming I could find it all, otherwise PS2 because I have that PSX stuff. 5. I transcend genres, mostly, although I suck more at a game the faster it requires me to move. Turn-based-X is awesome. Tired of FPS, bored with sports, but everything else is fair game.

I've lost some interest lately, so I guess maybe 1 or 2 every few months. Could be zero on any given month.
Probably 5 or 6 per year
PS2, X-Box, PC and umm....Mac
More PC games than anything else. I've sold most of my stuff, so I only have 2 games left on the X-Box and 2 on the PS2.
Oft played genre: Puzzle games atm. Favorite is probably Adventure

1. Games per month: .3 maybe 2. Games per year: Maybe 4 3. Systems owned (this gen): PC (P4/GeFX), Xbox, PSP, GB SP 4. Most Games on: PC - XBox (I only ever own 4 games at a time, but I have a larger collection on the pc because you can't trade that in for shit) 5. Don't really have a favorite genre. FPS done well, RPG's, and Madden every year. I <3 Soul Caliber too.

1. Games per month: 1ish (not because they're too expensive, because there aren't that many that I'm excited about) 2. Games per year: 12ish? (extrapolating from above... I've bought exactly 1 game a month the past few months.) 3. Systems owned: PC. (consoles can bite me) 4. Most games on: PC. (consoles can bite me) 5. Genre: FPS, action, sim, strategy, puzzle. RPGs only occasionally.

A lot less than I used to! Thank God! I used to be about as bad as schild, but I've cut back a lot the last year or so. I still buy just about every big MMORPG and nearly every expansion, though many of them are still in unopened boxes. I'm a bit obsessive with RPGs of any sort. 1. 1 or 2 a month. Righ just bought a PSP so it might go up again. 2. I'll try for 10 - 20 this year but that's down from "I lost count." 3. PCs of various sorts, Macs of various sorts, Xbox, PS2, PSP, and bits and bobs such as Gameboys and old consoles that no longer see any action. 4. Mostly PC and Xbox lately... I guess we'll be buying PSP stuff too, now. Still buy PS2 now and then. 5. Mostly RPGs for me and RPGs, driving and strategy for Righ.

1) Prior to discovering MMORPGs, perhaps 2 per month, after that: 1 or less. 2) In a year we could say 10 games. 3) A PC that apparently is having heat problems trying to run Guild Wars (ANGER), an old-ish PS2, a Dreamcast. Had a Gamecube I sold (I can only take so many Nintendo franchise titles - and it was collecting dust). A GB Color sits in its box, a GBA collects dust (though with a nice skin from the guys that made skins for it), and my DS (traded in my SP) has two WarioWare games inside. Had a Donkey Kong Jr. keychain thingy, but lost it. 4) I used to buy too many cheap and crappy PC games on sale, so I actually have more PC games than for either console. 5) That would ideally be turn-based strategy, but I rarely have the patience for them. Oh and there is that MMORPG addiction thingy.

Games per month: 0.5 Games per year: 6ish, but I get some as gifts Systems: PC and a Gamecube I never play Most Games: PC ftw! Genre: Hack & Slash RPG, nothing where I die on randomness, but that has a decent questline. Also, some RTS and MMOG's.

1. For me, 1-2/mo; for the whole family prob 3-4 plus rentals 2. Per year: um, 20-50? 3. Systems: 2 pc's, Xbox, PS2, PS1, GC, 2 GBA's 4. Pc wins, then Xbox 5. RPG and Strategy (not rts though), sports
And to reiterate, having kids is a great excuse to buy lots of fun stuff you can also "teach them to use" ;)

Games per month: 0-10, depending on price, what's out there, and how much money I have.
Games per year: Probably 50 ish.
Systems: (Deep breath Jain.. deep breath) Atari 7800, Intellivision, NES, Amiga 500, Sega Master System, Genesis/CD/32X/Nomad, Turbo Duo, SNES, N64, Gameboy/Color/Advance, Nintendo DS, Gamecube, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Neo Geo Pocket Color, N Gage QD, X Box, Athlon 3200 PC with Radeon 9600 256mb card, Sony Playstation/Playstation 2, and an Atari 5200 in need of some working joysticks so I can play Gremlins. Considering I still buy old games on Ebay, and that good gaming never goes out of style, I just decided to list all the systems.
Most games: PC, though if we count PS1 games, the Playstation 2 comes in second. If we count the Gameboy Player, the Gamecube is right up there anyhow.
Genre: turn based strategy.

1. Per month - ~2 2. Per Year - ~24 3. Systems (oldest - newest) - PC, PS2, GBA SP, GC, Xbox 4. Most games - PC, PS2 5. Genre PC - MMOs, FPS, RTS, RPG, Sim "God Games" (Railroad/Rollercoaster Tycoon, etc.), Strategy Genre Console - RPG, SRPG, Action (Devil May Cry, etc.), Fighting, Platform (but I never finish them)
Number of "unique" games purchased (I multi-box many MMOs so I'm not counting the extra copies) varies depending on how much I'm playing MMOs. Currently taking a break from WoW and just got an Xbox so I just bought a slew of games in the last couple of months. I play most game genres except for sports, driving (though I've been trying to use my Forza raincheck but Fry's is still sold out), pure adventure games, and hard core flight sims. RPG, FPS, and RTS are the big three for me.

I want to make a smart arse remark about the Commodore 64, but I can't think of anything. Considering there's one in the cupboard, along with an Amiga 3000, I should probably just shut up anyway.

The only games I've actually bought this year are RE4, God of War, Freedom Force II, and WoW (also various cheap greatest hits titles and used games). Most of the time I'll just rent stuff since I become easily bored after a few days of play anyhow. I own a PS2 and a Gamecube. My brother and father both own X-boxes so I just tend to play theirs when I see them.

1. 3-4 games per month
2. about 50 games per year
3. Pentium4 pc (which I replace every 2-3 years), PS2, Gamecube, DS, GBA, GB (gameboys still this generation? How about Nintendo64?)
4. Most games - probably Gamecube; 2nd most - PC
I no longer play console games due to arthritis in my thumbs since the birth of my daughter (pregnancy hormones do strange things to ligaments), so console stuff is all my kids - but it's the lion's share of the gaming budget these days.
I tend to play MMOGs, so I don't buy nearly as many pc games as I used to.

1. 3-4 on average. I buy in spurts (ex. Gish, Fire Emblem, and Stella Deus this week, and nothering before since GW) 2. about 40-50 annual, 20ish rentals 3. PC, GBA (need to save for DS...), PS2, and I play my brother's GC heavily 4. GBA, followed by PS2. Castlevanias, Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, Mario, Zelda, Metroid.... Plus a few ROMs of Jap games that never make it here like Super Robot Wars. 5. RPG, MMO, Platformer, Strategy. Again in spurts (on a big Strat spurt now with Stella Deus and the new Fire Emblem),
Nintendo Handhelds 4 teh win!

PC, Gamecube, Xbox, Playstation 2, GBA SP, Nintendo DS. 4. PC, Gamecube. 5. Hard to say, not enough (good) games released in my prefered genre of adventure games.

1. 0.41 2. 5 or so, 0 so far in 2005. 3. PC, Xbox, GC 4. PC 5. TBS, RPG, Online FPS
I stick to a couple strong replayable titles and ignore the schlock. My GC and Xbox are in storage, consoles are teh sucks. I'm not much of a game consumer any more, and I don't see it getting much better as gaming gets more mainstream and big budget. Oh, and consoles are teh sucks. ;)

Games/Month = between .3 and 4, depending on actual releases and cash flow.
Games/Year = somewhere between 10 and 30, due to the reasons stated above.
Current Platforms = PC and Xbox
Most Played Platform = PC, easily.
Genre = I'll play just about anything, assuming it's good. That said, I tend to stick to RPG's, RPG-ish games, RTS/Tactical, Fighters, Sports, etc etc...
