Not really surprising, it never seemed to take off in NA. I'm more shocked that they were still running Lineage 1 server(s)

Didn't even know there's NA version of Lineage... always was under impression that started with Lineage 2 for some reason.

IIRC, Lineage was the first sub game to charge $15 a month to play in NA.

According to Slashdot, Lineage had over 1 million subscribers in 2008.

So everyone bailed in 2.5 years?

Does that count only NA Lineage numbers or Korean numbers as well?  I'd guess it counts Korean, and if it counts Korean it's actually lower than I thought.  I would have expected it to still be more than that.  Course, maybe everyone's playing Aion now or something?  It was a huge success over there, right?

Last I checked, Lineage still does great business in S. Korea, so I guess most of those subs are located outside of NA.
