Oh for fuck's sake. It's Snakes and Ladders. Fucking Americans, can you get nothing right? You don't have to butcher every goddamn thing that comes from England you know, the War of Independance was over long ago.

It is apparent to me that we are by far the better colony. And we were the prison!
I'm sure England considers you the best colony as well, because you made the best meat shields for them.   why so serious?

Also, what Goreschach said.  Not our fault we have to keep correcting their bizarness.

"My great-grandfather did not travel across four thousand miles of the Atlantic Ocean to see this nation overrun by immigrants.  He did it because he killed a man back in Ireland. That's the rumor."

See, I happen to agree with this.  My point is that you can't just say 'This was THE BEST FULLSTOP' without expecting that others, may, you know, have like a totally different opinion dude.

Anyone else ever get into Myth (The Fallen Lords, not Myst the tedious photo puzzle games)? Was pure small-unit tactics, like Ground Effect, i.e. no base building or unit production, just take a bunch of dwarves, barbarians, spellcasters, bowman etc into a map and try not to let the bloody dwarves kill to many of your own units.

Loved those games, had serious multiplayer potential but nobody I knew at the time liked it and the multiplayer community dwindled to a few diehard Mac users pretty fast.

And would that still count as an RTS or would you call it a different genre entirely or just a subset of RTSs?

TA was <3. And Ground Control's multi was a blast for what it was.

As for D3, I'll talk about it when I'm sure it will be released within the decade.
