After finding out that Blizzard had as long as they did to come up with classes and they came up with THE WIZARD, my feelings for the game have hit rock bottom.

I wouldn't. You know they would slow it down and add useless bullshit for all the mouth-breathers. You know it deep in your heart that this is what they would do.
Also: I'm fairly indifferent about the wizard. I'm kind of interested to see where it fits in the Diablo lore, but altogether I can't really judge it until I can play it, though the name is almost as vanilla as Mage.

Also. Consoles. Diablo 1 was on the PS1. Maybe not at release, but I have at least 2 friends who played it through on it. I may have as well. I actually don't remember. It also had co-op if I recall correctly. |
