Glad you figured it out, because I was having the same issue.

Depends on whether or not they want us to mine veldspar. I'd imagine that they do, but shrug.
Why do all MMORPG devs insist on forcing their players to endure tedious rubbish? Look, they're not mining! They're actually having fun! Dammit, how can we make them do boring, stupid shit for hours on end instead?! And then they complain that there's no way to stop macro-miners and botting.... Also... making Veldspar mining profitable is one of the best things they can do to get new players to stick around. If you are not already connected to a guild/mentor, then making money solely through mission running/ratting is tough as a new player. But, anyone can figure out how to mine after the tutorial. Personally, I think a high tritanium price is a great thing for helping new players Stick... even if they are more combat oriented people.

I don't think there's been a single patch where CCP haven't managed to break the overview in some way. I wish they'd throw it away and design something that is nicer to work with and not as easy to break.

I don't think my problem was "broken" so much as I have no idea why "wrecks" get filtered according to "Show ALliance pilots on overview". NPC wrecks, to boot.

I don't think my problem was "broken" so much as I have no idea why "wrecks" get filtered according to "Show ALliance pilots on overview". NPC wrecks, to boot. =Overview Filters= Underneath the "Filter" tab, You have two additional tabs. "Types" allows you to filter by object type (ship, station, stargate) and "States" allows you to filter by various personal and corp standings. These two filtering options are cumulative. If you have checked frigates and pilot is at war with you, only frigates that are at war with you will show up on the overview. Non-frigate war targets and friendly frigates will not show up.
Ever noticed how Cargo Containers have a colortag on them that states they have bad standings? The same thing is going on here, the "Pilot is in your X" state is really just "ABC is in your X". It is poorly worded in the cases of wrecks, although those are "owned by an ABC pilot" just the same.

I think the idea is that wrecks, cargo etc are an extension of the pilot in order for standings to cascade down to them.

That's why I finally thought to try that -- it just never occured to me that those states would apply to wrecks, not just ships.
