Then again - it's pretty cold hearted to say no to make-a-wish.

PVPers can't read. Part of me is hoping he isn't being facetious there. Self pwning is priceless.

Pretty cool of Blizzard.

I couldn't read that whole piece. Apparently, to see the end game content you either need to have a brain tumor or catass enough to DEVELOP a brain tumor.

PvE'ers need to relax and go raid something. I was making a joke about saying no to make a Wish foundation, I maybe should have green texted it or something. Its not even possibly to say no to them. Imagine the horrible, horrible publicity. Either way, lighten up man, not sure why you have a permanent case in the ass for me anyways...

Would have been much better worded if you used:

I'm going with "Easiest People to Rile Up" for 1000, Alex.

and would fit into Jeopardy better as a category :)

I'm going with "Mods that Hate Slay" for 200, Alex.

The list is long, but distinguished.

The reason the parents can't afford it is because of the sick kid.  Go go US healthcare system!

Why is that the only people whose houses ever burn down have like terminal illness or some crazy misfourtune?

You may not be able to say no to Make-a-Wish, but Blizzard certainly went out of their way to make sure that it was a very special day.

But I suppose that now that that crossbow is out there, they're going to have to nerf hunters again. Bonus. ;)

Here is the kid's armory and here's an ingame pic of his phoenix mount.

Pretty cool of Blizz to do this imo.

I agree completely.  I think it was a class move by Blizzard to make this kid happy... even if only in a pixelated world for a little while.  It's certainly better than the squitgun fights I have with the kids in the BMT ward.

It was nice of Blizzard to do this for a dying kid. I do find it funny that the kid was playing a hunter though. It sort of plays into the whole age/maturity label I've put on most hunters I meet.

The problem with the hunter class was just how many there were, especially early. That invariably meant that there were more immature twits that were noticed as hunters.

The game as a whole has a absolute shitload of immature twits and children playing it though.

Yeh, gotta go with Ironwood on that one.

Some of us just like pet classes.  Unfortunately for me, that means I have to deal with Hunter and Warlock hate.

The Warlock hate comes from overpowered fire-and-forget pvp encounters. Warlocks don't even have to think about you to kill you.

The Hunter hate comes from the fact that probably 10% of the overall hunter population knows how to play their class in a helpful manner in groups and/or raids without sounding like a completely idiotic frothing retard. I'd pretty much assume any hunter I met on F13 would know what they were doing, however. Also, I include rogues in the same group of lootwhoring idiots. I hardly ever group with either of the two classes unless I know them personally from my guild or raiding alliance, because they don't add enough utility to be worth the social headache.

The problem I found was (especially when I was starting to play) that hunters by and large were considered the least useful of the non-holy trinity classes so many of them never got a chance to be in groups and learn what their strengths were. Which created a self-fulfilling prophecy. I was lucky in that I had a small group of in-game friends who I ended up grouping with quite a bit and got damn good at it.

Add 'DPS' warriors to the list of people who are raging loot whores. When I was raiding, they were actually worse. Especially on alliance where the broken fury mechanics allowed them to do retardedly high DPS which made them feel like they were entitled to every item that they could equip.

Yeah put me in that camp as well. I pretty much refuse to deal with them at all in raids. Why? BECAUSE YOUR GEAR DROPS IN PVP YOU RAGING COCKGOBBLER! Seriously, stop asking me to tank for you. I hate you. You are the bastard version of me.

Uh... Fury Warriors have never been the bastard version of anyone, considering how they are still top-tier DPS and all. You can complain about Arms Warriors in PvE though, I'm sure they won't mind :P.
