Naw, he doesn't. He is entirely convinced of the opposite, actually. He's not even a cat. He's a bag of sand. He's always been like that. (I did adopt him so Bock would have a Little Brudder, not because I necessarily wanted a kitten)

My youngest cat is the same way (just turned 1 year old on the 8th), and is the biggest whore in the world.  However, for all of his annoying "I NEED LOVE, DAMMIT!" qualities, I can forgive his misbehavior because he's so damn cute.  We got him a catnip, terry cloth bunny for his birthday.  He now sleeps with said bunny.  He uses pillows like a human does, likes to play fetch, and can catch a ball or his bunny with his mouth and paws while making very acrobatic leaps.

He's not as badass as my oldest (spiked harley davidson collar ftw!), or my ancient kitty that died, thus making room for him, but he's still pretty kickass.  He is also convinced that he's the best thing since sliced bread, but we try to keep him in his place.  This just exacerbates the behavior.

But damn, he still hasn't grown into his ears or feet or legs yet, so he's a big, gawky Napoleon Dynamite cat. 

OMG - Bock has a spiked collar too! It's the fourth or fifth collar he's had, and the only one he didn't "lose" within a week of having to wear it. He's such a little badass mofo. He goes on walks with us around the block, and walks me to 7-11. He just waits on the corner until I come out of the store and then starts chirping at me when I come out. (He's a Maine Coon and chirps instead of meows)

Desmond just turned 2, but he thinks he's still a baby. He will actually root around in your armpit for a nipple when he sits in your lap. And he's a fat bastard. You can even see the fat on his neck and chin.

We have 4 cats. It's okay if they're not all my #1 Champ. (Bock's got that title)

Ziggy (the one with the spiked collar) has worn his for the entire 6-year stretch of his life and it just now fits his body.  He has also hulked out in the last two years.  It's all muscle.  I know this because he  apparently had a tapeworm for at least a year (I won't go into gross detail about how I noticed the problem) and still got huge; it took myself and my mom to hold him down and give him his pills for that.  I used to think he was at least part Bengal, but after seeing your comment about chirping, I'm thinking he may be part or mostly Maine Coon.  It also makes me wonder about Curtis (the "kitten") since he looks like Ziggy's little brother and is about at the same level of development that Ziggy was at when he was one year old.

And yeah, Curtis also has inappropriate nursing habits.  I assume this is due to the fact that his mom was killed by a car when he was about 2 weeks old.

I would have been a vet if I could have managed to get over my angst about having to put people's pets down.  I've almost considered a career as a "pet psychologist" or some other bunk thing since I have a really great empathy/repoire with 99.9% of domesticated animals.  But then again, I'm the boy who was raised by cats (had 'em sleeping in my crib when I was one month old).

So yeah, I love my cats, both living and dead.

I overheard a hilarious conversation last friday. My supervisor (a librarian) was going on vacation, and he was worried that his copy of the new book was going to get seized at the airport. I poked my head into his office and said I would have cracked the box open and already have read it. He and the other librarian were shocked and went into what trouble we'd get into over it.

I save my law-abiding for stuff that makes sense, like not killing people or robbing them and whatnot. Not reading a book because a box tells me the evil attorneys will flay me alive...not so much. When I worked retail, sure, because then we're selling to the public. But just to read a book? This is america, right?

Ok, this thread has been derailed enough.  Let me clarify some things for you, voodoolily.  :)  I'm not here trying to get a date.  My post to Schild was just playful flirtatiousness because he said he loved my avatar.  For the record, I'm gay.  I do have trouble getting dates though, and not because I'm fat.  I'm a size 4, 5'9".  I'm rather small, actually.  There aren't a lot of hot gay women knocking down my door and I'm a little shallow.  I won't just date anyone.

That's my dress/jeans size.  US size.  Basically, I have about a 26inch waist and small hips, the only problem I have with this is that I'm rather tall for my slenderness.  It's hard to find jeans long enough to fit me when they're the right size around my waist.  It's rather tedious to do any kind of shopping in an alotted time frame.  So I mostly stick to skirts.  :(

Nope, absolute gods honest truth.  :)  I have no reason to lie.  I love being a woman, I happen to like women sexually, was graced with good looks after I turned about 18 (was an ugly duckling during my childhood years), and I also happen to love games and stuff.  It's not so farfetched really.  There's no way for me to prove it to you, but that's ok.  I know the truth and that's all that matters. 

I actually broke up with my previous girlfriend of a year, because we had absolutely NOTHING in common.  She was  a crazy bitch and was literally up my @$$ all the time.  I couldn't go anywhere without her, play games when she was around (because she didn't like them and was bored), or even read a book in bed by myself (she thought something was wrong if i wasn't doing exactly what she was doing and fawning over her).  Sheesh, women.  Anyway, to make a long story short, she could have vouched for me, but she doesn't know shit about the internet and I don't ever want to speak to her again, if possible.

Before I realized I was a lesbian, I always thought that PMS was something guys made up, because I never realized that I myself would get it.  You know, hormones were always in the way of my seeing clearly.   ;)   But now, I know how very deeply true it is.

Ok, anyhoo, as for my most embarassing game purchase....hmm, that's a toughie.  I'd have to say it was the Cosmopolitan Make-over thingy.  Not sure if that actually qualifies as a game, but it was pretty embarassing.  It wasn't for me, but for my little sister. 

As for just embarassing, in general, basically everytime I took my ex into any game store with me while I was shopping.  She was totally clueless, asked all sorts of stupid questions of the clerks, while trying to look and sound like she was a super elite gamer who knew what she was talking about, just from throwing in random tidbits she picked up from me.  ugh, it was pathetic.
