Maybe it was meant to say be conscious instead?

Other than the Matt Damon part, that was painfully unfunny.

That last one's older than Judaism.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

No, it's fake. The Arctic Ready site is made by @TheYesMen, not Shell. They want you to think it's a real Shell PR fail. They even issued a fake Shell press release saying Shell is suing them over the fake site.

It began with a terrible badly acted "viral" fake video of a Shell oil rig launch where a miniature oil pump on a cake sprays the Occupy movement's old woman who was pepper sprayed, with an "accidental" amount of fake oil. This was meant to lead you to the Arctic Ready site, an element of which is the fake poster generator. Fortunately the activist designing those had an actual functioning sense of humour and they have worked where the video failed.

Graphics on Right from PA saying 'we tried to capture FF's 16bit graphics for look/ feel but they're BETTER' suck.  As shown by direct comparison to some of the stunning 16bit graphics on left from FF games.

Seemed simple to me, although not that funny, just rather depressing.

I've read this sentence several times and still can't make sense of it.  The mystery of why that pic is funny deepens!   why so serious?

I believe it is something like:
The Penny Arcade guys made an RPG.
They claim that their "16 bit-as-homage-to-Final-Fantasy-of-old" style graphics are actually better then the FF graphics they are paying Homage to.
They are proven wrong by direct comparison.

Thats about what i got.

"Proven." I don't know that I'd say "in some ways" is exactly a declarative statement of utter superiority, either.

I was going to point out that the difference in zoom levels make the comparison difficult from that picture, and then I realized: Even by the standards of internet slap-fights, this one is particularly nerdy.
