Holy crap, if you had John Cleese and Terry Jones read the dialogue and you'd think they wrote it. That's John Clarke and Brian Dawe, two deadpan comedians who have done a sketch like that every Thursday night forever ... they're still going: http://www.abc.net.au/7.30/clarkedawe.htmDawe is always the interviewer, Clarke is the interviewee. Their trademark is to just pretend Clarke is someone else, without any makeup or accents, just using his normal voice and Australian accent. This is kind of actually amazing. The girl swings her hips and flips her hair exactly in beat with the bass as it goes up the screen. And the clapping about 40 seconds in, fuck. That's pretty amazing and total coincidence and probably wouldn't work for most videos. |
