http://www.cybernickel.com/

One of the Stratics monkeys posted this little project of his, and I thought a few people here might find it interesting.  It's just a listing of average RMT prices over time for virtual currency in six or seven different games.  There are some gold-seller advertisements here and there, including one run by the guy who owns the site, but I guess that's to be expected.

And a comparison to real-life money too.

i.e. 100g = $10 U.S. => 1g = $0.1US = XXX euros

I want to see what national economies have weaker trading values than WoW gold.

Tossed some numbers into my calculator.  Based on the latest average numbers, one WoW copper piece equals...

7 gold in UO
9 gold in Lineage 2
19 isk in Eve
22 credits in SWG

Didn't bother doing the rest.

Gaming Open Market was much better, as it covered about 15 games and had graphs.

Unfortunately, their account with their ISP was suspended, so Cybernickel seems to be all we've got.

That somehow seems REALLY whacked.  You SURE that was WoW COPPER?  at that rate, i could make enough money in wow in an hour to buy some pretty serious shit in Eve.

If you believe the numbers on Cybernickel it really is that way. E.g. ~$20 will get you 100 gold in WoW but it'll get you 200M ISK in EVE.
