Patch 1.20 is out, and the newest expansion is due 3-30. ANyone having problems using EA Link lately?

No, I DL'd the patch and installed it fine. I did have to re-enter my information though which was annoying as I didn't remember what it was and had to go search through old emails.

The pre-order process is all screwed up. For me at least, The html formatting inside EA Link is messed up, and there are form buttons missing to submit. I ended up getting 5 individual $1 "verification" withdrawals from my bank account. EA says they use the $1 to verify the account is legit, and refund it in a few days.

What the hell is EA Link and why TF are they withdrawing money from you as a test? Most companies that do that sort of thing *deposit* money into your account to test that it's working.

EA Link is thier software tool to download patches, buy digital downloads, and to offer us the amazing opportunity to download (and coincedentaly, BUY) other EA products. It's an okay tool I guess. It's a little hard to navigate sometimes, but having one place to do all the business needed is alright.
I just checked my bank, and all the $1 withdrawals are gone, so the guy was right.

OOOOH! I wonder if the patch will unfuck my video lag? I quit playing a couple of months ago because I couldn't turn around without choppiness. How I have missed headshotting n00bs with my Barret!

The new expansion will be open the 8th. I play with the AGP Nvidia 7600, with 2x anti-alias, dynamic light and shadows on low, and the rest about halhway up. The only time I get consistent lag is on Titan maps. The new unlocks are fairly nice.
