I never made it past 30-something on my old account, so the post-60 discussions don't hold a lot for me. 
But this IS interesting: new servers are coming!  ... at least it looks like it, according to this thread.  Yes, three have been confirmed as 'not new' a few days ago by blue, but the others were just put up today.

I just resubbed over the weekend, been having fun with the new Dranei and BE areas.  I'm amazed at how much BETTER they are than the old starting zones - so much so that I'm fairly discouraged from starting over with one of the old races. 

Anyway, I've been hoping for a totally fresh server, and if other people are interested, I'd be up for forming a new (and probably short lived, given past history) Bat Country guild on one of them if/when they're released.     

Would prefer to go Horde and Pve - I'd like to make a Belf hunter and go catch this spider - but if enough people want to go alliance/pvp I could be convinced.

How do you plan to get your Blood Elf hunter over to the Draenei island to tame Zarakh?  Does it work the same way as getting a young Orc or Troll to Teldrassil for an owl?  I hadn't seen any guide to opposite lands posted yet, so I was curious.

Oh, and sorry, but I just don't think I can survive on a new server again.  Teeny tiny auction houses, resources selling for small fractions of their value on aged servers, no market for rares...~shudder~  Never again.

My boyfriend is loving his little Blood Elf hunter...he just doesn't seem to grasp the point of questing instead of grinding.

I switched to Dath'Remar when it was new.  The NSE (New Server Experience) is NOT everything it's cracked up to be.

There was a comment on it on the Allahkazam page for the spider - get a guard to kill you in the water next to the boat, rez on the boat, jump off on the other side before the dock guards kill you once again.

It'd be fun to try, at least, and be a fairly rare pet if you can do it.

Done that before.  Also grabbed a white bear at level 11 as a Troll hunter on a PVP server.

It's fun the first time.

There are a bunch of 1-month old servers that were released with TBC.  Dunno if they are still marked as new.

I'm on Shu'halo, PVE Horde.  It was a 1 month pre-BC transfer realm.  4 different servers had free moves to Shu'halo.

So, the dynamic is a lot of a 60-70 folk running through Outland, a lot of newbie blood elves and dranei, and not much else.  There's really no mid level (35-60) economy, and I suppose it might be a bit difficult to do non TBC instances.  Of course, this dynamic could be appearing on other servers, and is most likely happening on other transfer realms.  The economies on transfer/new realms develop very slowly.  There's many markets open to corner, if there's even a market at all for pre-TBC items.  I guess no one really transfers mid level characters.

Still, it doesn't appear to be highly populated at all. It's on PST time. Seems to be a decent horde-alliance ratio. 

Just an option.  I can lend monetary support and roll a lowbie with whomever wants to hang.

I've been playing with warcraftrealms a bit, and on every non-transfer BC-release server one third of the population are blood elves and a fourth of all races are hunters.  On some servers like Rivendare, it's 40% belf, including both factions!  The only other race to crack 10% is undead at 11.

Sigh.  I am not a unique snowflake.
