http://planetside.station.sony.com/screenshots.jspVS Aphelion: Looks similar to Veritech (or a Decepticon) and is the most humanoid. It has these wing like structures on the back and an exhaust port on the back (jump jets?). It looks like it has one weapon attached to each arm. TR Colossus: More squatty, no arms, and looks just like a walking weapons platform. Looks like it has 3 weapons systems on it. NC Pergrine: Similar shape to the TR mech. It appears to also have 3 weapons but does have a small wing on top with an exhaust port on back. They're not rendered against a background so you really can't tell exactly how big they are. The NC mech does have a visible cockpit. Using that as a reference, I'd say the NC is about 2 to 2.5 stories tall. TR is probably about the same size and the VS looks taller and more slender.

Images 19 onward made me laugh. My caption: "Players, drunk by the extreme power of the Vanguard, run over their own troops while blasting anything that moves. Troops are forced to destroy an Ant driving newbie who decided to ram everybody around the tower for cheap kill experience. [Note: Please ignore how there is a tree in the background growing out of the side of the vanguard. It's probably just a complication of some sort of wallhack the screenshot taker was using.]" My caption: "Terran Republic forces attempt to overcome the unlimited respawn capacity of this remote tower, but since they haven't parked an AMS immediately outside the tower, they are losing ground fast. The New Conglomerates spawn more and more Jackhammers, assuring victory in this close quarters fight. (Close quarters being 85% of the troop versus troop fighting done.) [Please ignore the single Terran Republic troop out of place, shooting the attacking NC forces in the back. They couldn't see him as he warped past them in latency.]" My caption: "Three friendly Terran Republic soldiers and a single enemy New Conglomerate troop are caught in a plasma grenade blast thrown by some coward defender who popped back into the main complex entrance a few seconds ago. Not that it matters, the grenades will only do about 33% of the damage needed to kill the troop. Kills are only inflicted in an instagib fashion by Heavy Assault weaponry anyway, such as the Jackhammer carried by the soldier in foreground who will go on to kill all four of those hit by the grenade (including the friendly one who endeavors to get in the way to hog the kill.)"

If you click the first shot and then hit previous there is a shot of a guild "owned" based. What the point of owning a base is I'm not quite sure though. I think they were just trying to jank an idea from DAoC and guilds owning keeps was the only thing they came up with.

Interesting bit of info from that second mag screenshot:
Seems they are planning on a "Re-Launch" of PS, where in they will be bundling the expantion pack with the main game, instead of requiring you to buy each seperately.
Also mentions reduction in sub fees, but only talks about "Long Term" subscribers?

<derail> I'm more interested in the KoL sidebox and the mention of Tabula Rasa 'coming soon.' But I'm a dork like that. </derail>

Also mentions reduction in sub fees, but only talks about "Long Term" subscribers? Probably the same thing that AO and others practice: Pay for more months = pay less per month. E.g. if you pay a year in advance for AO (like I foolishly did in March), you pay only $8 per month, nearly half the price of a single-monthly fee. I think NCSoft also has a system like that.
