So, umm....Went to the doc today. I had this small bump on my hip that had been around for awhile. Figured it was just some old zit that needed to drained or something (sorry, if that's tmi). Turned out it was a cyst, and it needed to be lanced.
Long story short, after much waiting, I had to strip to my ghoulies, lay on my side, and get it cut out. On top that, I had to deal with two flirty medical students, who commented on how nice it was that there wasn't a lot of fat on my body to deal with. I felt like both a guinea pig, and a piece of man meat at the same time. Would have been nice if they just knocked me out instead.

I take it they didn't like the female doctor's on Gray's Anatomy?
Should have asked if they wanted a sperm sample anyways.

Indian girls. Kind of cute. More like that one chick from ER, but nerdier.

Oh, I'm not saying they were bad looking. It was just...awkward. 5 minutes before, they were all flirty. Little did I know I'd have to show them my goods so soon. And get cut by them at the same time.

My wife gets those on her scalp. Since scalp wounds tend to bleed a lot, the surgeon generally ends up sheathed in latex, drapes, and a face shield. It's funny as all hell, because she doesn't really bleed that much. Speaking of -- I've got a skin tag that really needs to be removed. It's too big for the ole' "nail clippers and hydrogen peroxide" method.

Speaking of -- I've got a skin tag that really needs to be removed. It's too big for the ole' "nail clippers and hydrogen peroxide" method. Nonsense! As long as it fits into the clippers, you can do it! Just do it at 3 AM after a day long bender. You will bleed more, but you will hurt/remember the pain far less

This thread litterally makes my teeth hurt. Especially this: Speaking of -- I've got a skin tag that really needs to be removed. It's too big for the ole' "nail clippers and hydrogen peroxide" method. That just gives me a severe case of the heebee jeebies, man.

I felt like both a guinea pig, and a piece of man meat at the same time I'd pay for that. Where do I sign up?

It's too big for the ole' "nail clippers and hydrogen peroxide" method. That just gives me a severe case of the heebee jeebies, man. The small ones -- I mean the really small ones -- you don't even feel. (Seriously, just clean the area with iodine and soak the clippers in hydrogen peroxide or alcohol. Better yet, get news ones and do that). I haven't done any that were much bigger than a pencil tip. The two I've done that way didn't seem to have pain nerves, to be honest. This one is "large eraser sized". I won't fit into a nail clipper, and I'm not even going to try. It's like a ten second office procedue to get it removed. Waiting for the novacaine to take effect takes the most time. Personally, I'd recommend getting it removed there -- especially if it's oddly colored, irregular, or actively growing. Just in case.

Turned out it was a cyst, and it needed to be lanced.
At least they make it sound cool. Edit for substance: I have either a ganglion or a calcium build up on my left wrist. I had both removed once before. I'd get it removed now, but I'm in the middle of a 16 month stretch of school and I'm left handed. Nothing like random numbing of your hand.

Why is everybody so lumpy? My ability to exert exact control of my biochemistry and cellular mechanisms is on the fritz. Still waiting on a repair crew. I can't explain everyone else.
