Kicking corpses is off-limits if you're American. The British seem to take to it quite well.

Nope.  I stand behind it.  She was a bad person.  I already explained why.

Dying doesn't give you a free pass on anything except paying taxes.

If you were a scummy shitheel waste of a person when you were alive, the same is true when you're dead.  The dead don't get special respect, because it's a part of life. If they get respect after they're dead, they get it because I respected them when they were alive.

I'm amused that it was ok to Dig on Steve Irwin - who was a MUCH better person - but somehow calling ANS a trampy worthless whore is offlimits simply because she's a corpse.

And for those of you recalling Steve's thread and my disgust there, it was at that bitch trying to get back in the spotlight off of his death by writing the article trashing him, not for her opinion of him to begin with.

But she didn't get any of the money, so can she really be a whore?

Or is it that there is a potential for her child to maybe get 1/10th of whatever is left of the eventual outcome in the courts from whoever ends up it's guardian? That makes her a whore?

That just makes her an unsuccessful whore.

"Attempted murder.  What is that, anyways?  They don't give out the Nobel Prize for Attempted Chemistry, do they?"

Just cause she failed doesn't mean it's all good.  Hell, Reagan survived being shot, so can his attacker really be defined as an assassin?

Man, I don't know what the FUCK you just said, little kid.

But you're special.

You reached out.

And you touched a brother's heart.

I think there's something to your comparison, but it's also a bit beside the point.  Mocking someone after they're dead, no matter how ill a person they might've been, is a pretty shitty thing to do.  First thought that comes to mind are people in UO standing over a corpse saying "azzrape lol" over and over.  Only it's even less funny here since it's a real death, of an actual person.  But I suppose insulting the moral character of the deceased is how some people show their own quality.

I don't recall Germaine Greer ever having any sort of "good riddance" attitude about Steve Erwin. People just read the worst kind of intentions in her because she didn't like his job.

And if someone here, at this site, made fun of Erwin's death....Well....I don't remember that.

if you guys don't like dissing the dead, you can still get your fix of trainwreck upmarket trailer-trash with Britney's latest escapades.
Maybe even start a death pool for her too?

So you couldn't stand the woman and her attention-whoring ways, but you're apparently keeping up with with the latest news on her death... for what reason now?  To continue to justify why you're glad that she's dead or something?

Because I listen to the radio, and they said it on the radio, and I thought I'd take 5 seconds to find an article and link it here to back up my point.

We're not joking about her because she's dead. We're joking about her because she's a punchline.

Her life was the joke.
