Hey, I'm not exactly heartbroken that she died, I just find it odd for people to have actually laughed when they heard about her death.  There was more sympathy in the Saddam execution thread.

She was a drug-addled idiot who died, most likely as a direct consequence of being a drug-addled idiot.  What's worse, is that she was an unavoidable, attention-whoring drug-addled idiot, who glorified the lifestyle she lived.  Part of that can be blamed on the media for letting her, part of it can be blamed on people who took advantage of her, but the lion's share of the blame is hers.

If you disagree, explain how there are so many attractive women out there who may not be terribly bright, but aren't a complete fucking trainwreck.  It's not even like she was THAT hot.

So am I being callous about it?  Probably, but I've had an assfull of her and people like her.  But what really pisses me off is the daughter.  This walking disaster was procreating and raising children.  If she had her tubes tied a while ago, I'd be way more sympathetic.  Someone like her does not need to be raising children.  There are already enough fucked up people in the world, we don't need you making more.

But you'll note that I'm at least consistent.  I offered no sympathy for Saddam, and indeed was much more malicious.  Certainly the two aren't comparable.  But if we're setting the bar for human decency at Saddam, you've got to be pretty fucked up not to make it over that.  The bar for my sympathy is just out of her reach.

You'll find I'm one of the most tolerant, accepting people on the face of this planet.  Some people just don't deserve it.

(And no I'm not a determinist, but I do believe that people who have exhibited previous patterns are unlikely to break those patterns on their own.  She certainly showed no signs of that.  The difference is that I believe you CAN break those patterns, it just takes effort. For instance, I decided to start taking care of myself and now I go to the gym 3 times a week, after being totally sedentary for... well, since my last P.E. class.  It took effort, but I got it done and now I'm in much better shape. People work to improve themselves, and this lazy, stupid bitch was not only going to continue ruining herself, which I'm okay with, but her daughter and any other naive girl deluded enough to think she was some sort of idol. So no I don't have sympathy for her.  She got herself killed indulging in her own vices. Talk about a fucking Darwin award, this is the same shit we laugh at.  Only difference is that she was famous, had big jugs, and there was no punchline to her death.  Or not a very good one, anyway.)

However, I will give her credit for being voluptuous instead of rail-thin and legitimizing that, up until she opened her mouth to speak and turned out to be... well, we all know how that went.

She really did everything she could to not make me care much about her. Not giving a shit to me though usually doesn't equate to calling someone a whore or the Scum of the Earth right after they just died, or to say they laughed when they heard the person died.  I realize the point of this site in many was is to have fun hating shit, but a lot of the posts in this thread just seem like pointless spite against a recently deceased person who was an annoyance at worst (and an easily avoidable one if you just change the channel).
