Star Wars Galaxies.

I went to my local Best Buy yesterday to pick up a couple game cards that were priced on the shelf at $10.00 each and when I went to pay for them I was shocked to be told that they are in the system at $0.01 each.

So I bought all 8 they had in the store. Make all the jokes you want about the game itself but eight cents for 8 months of gaming is a great deal.

Hoe Lee Krap

Yea, I'll be hitting the local BB. I'll send em to my budding, keeping one for myself. Be worth the $0.01 to log in and finally clear out everything from my characters. Got some nice stuff I'll hand over to him.

Just a note, they have 2 kinds of game cards, the one you want is the "Complete online adventures 30 day card".

Sounds like Bestbuy is liquidating a stock of something that doesn't sell.  Get em' while they're hot.

I clicked the wrong thread and thought I was entering the VG one where we were talking about dynamic quests. In that sentence you accurately described a quest in WoW in Hellfire Peninsula. This deranged dog-like this follows you around, eats what you kill and you're supposed to loot his poo to find what the quest giver once.

And I looted 8 piles before getting the drop (heh) I needed.

Ugh.

8 piles of poo for a weapon better than MC drops on the other hand, is a pretty good deal. If it was D&D it would be munchkin even.

EDIT: now I find out the poo quest doesn't give you the reward but rather the next step. I suck.

Whenever an opponent discards a card, Megrim deals 2 damage to that player.

You know those three Forges across the northern area of Hellfire, to the west of Honor Point (which you can fly too from that floating-island tower place)? The western most forge is, I think, Annihilator. Once you reveal that on your map (or if you use a map revealer), you'll see a cave to the southwest. Outside of that cave is a Goblin who gives the series. There's I think one or two steps before the poo.
