I also think not knowing my American presidents (being, uh, Canadian) sort of gimped me too.

I should just do it again and pretend that I got the eventual 95% or whatever.

90%. Yeah, some of those were entirely lucky guess. Yellow Submarine? Cuts of Beef? Open Chords? WTF.

I somehow guess right on quite a number of them, especially the ones that made the least amount of sense to me.

As for the forest question, its the direction the shadows are.  Sun travels east to west so late afternoon the shadows will be pointing East-ish.  Find the one where the shadows point to the right, bam.

I got about halfway, reflected on the amount of guesses I had to make and decided to give up and put on some vocal trance. So I know I'm pretty-much not the traditional manly man, but I can live with that. :P

I actually got all the tools right, so I guess my dad taught me well there. I couldn't actually, you know, do anything with any of them, but I know what they are called at least.

I knew the Yellow Sub had to do with the Beatles, but I for some reason didn't make the connection between the bug (a beetle) and The Beatles.

And seriously. I was born in the 80s. The Beatles are who, exactly?  evil

From what I remember, nope. I haven't seen any records around the house since I was 7. Never heard my mother ever mention the Beatles. It was always stuff along the lines of The Who, Queen, Led Zepplin, etc. Early MJ as well.

I don't think I'm much older than Straz, and I actually own a few Beatles records.  I had a peculiar upbringing, though.

Hmm.  Maybe that's a generational thing then.  My parents owned Bob Dylan albums (but only until he went electric), Beatles albums and Beach Boys albums.  They were also born in 1946, so perhaps that's part of it.  They have bizarre musical tastes by many people's standards.  They're like the only non-hippies that I know who pretty much only like folk music....and the Beach Boys.

Eh, they were born in the 60s, so that may be why.

As far as music goes, I don't own much at all, but we've been down that road before.

Only 62 here.

If they wanted me to link Yellow Submarine to the Beatles they should have had a picture of the Beatles not some iridescent june bug looking beatle. Or at least a picture of more than one beatle. I picked the monkey option because I figured there had to have been some crazy monkeys in the Yellow Submarine movie.

And the accountant photo was the right option because accountants have money.

I knew what to look for in the woods shadow question but I didn't want to take the time to figure it out so I just guessed and got it wrong.
