I'm currently using the headset that came with guildwars for my gaming. Looking for something wireless with a microphone. Any suggestions?

Wireless audio sucks. Ookii uses something or another. But there's 2 things I have NO interest in having wireless. Audio and Video. Now, you might say "that's not true Schild, you hate wireless mice and keyboards." Yes, I do, it's because they suck for any competitive gaming RIGHT NOW. I could see them getting ok. Audio and video though? Neg.

I don't plan to use them for competitive gaming. I plan to use them so I can get up from my desk and grab a smoke and hear if something starts attacking me.

Oh, see, instead of getting Wireless headphones, I stopped playing MMORPGs. It solved that problem right fast.

I concur. I noticed the 'problem' when someone would come over and I was in a dangerous area/middle of combat. I'd run to the door, fling it open, and run back up the stairs. They'd instantly know I was mmo'ing. So much nicer to just hit pause and actually act like a normalish person instead of a mmotard.

I ignored this thread at first because I just didn't know of any wireless headsets I could recommend and I figured saying so would be kinda pointless. If I'd known it would stagnate for so long I'd have piped up, 'cause thinking your thread is being ignored kinda sucks. :P

IR probably wouldn't work for Furiously since those need line-of-sight.

I know I am out of my mind...(I think Signe ate it).
It might be a moot issue actually. I'm debating moving my computer to a new room in the house that would be much more condusive to smoking with a long cord :)
