(Every yin must have a yang.) I'm gonna keep this one short. I love the lurkers and non-lurkers alike. I love all the contributors. I love all of the posters, even though it may not seem that way. I love all of the people who I talk to who may not read the site every day, or have an account, but keep me motivated behind the scenes. I love all the game developers who took time out of their days to talk to the little man. I love all the people who wrote emails flaming or praising anything that hit the frontpage. I love every member of the staff on f13 who keep things running while I hold down a day job. We wouldn't be here without you all. Here's to 2007.

Schild - Thanks for taking the reigns of WtO and keeping the community intact with your decisions. Do not let the man get you down and keep plugging away! Trippy - Thanks for your dedication and hard work around here. Things are much smoother with you taking things out of other peoples hands. Calandryll, Hartsman, Raph, Lum, and any other red around here I forgot - Thanks for partaking within this tiny segment of the internet and constantly sharing/interacting with us. Calandryll - I am voting you as Red Name of the Year. When the hell do you sleep? Keep up being cheerful! WAP - Thanks for generally making me chuckle at random intervals, good job Moderating! Rasix - You are King of the Den. And humorous.
I will add more as I think of it.
IRL stuff? The fact that my personal relationships seem stronger then ever despite massive strife at the end of this year. Not to get sappy (I am a grizzled tough guy!), but I have never known the joy of caring about someone outside my family before, and am thoroughly enjoying the trust and bonding. Considering the amount of women I have been with over the years that is saying something. :)
I have not even made a prostitute crack in months. Sheesh.

I love all you guys, including the nutjobs (self-included). No matter what your religion (since I seem to be stirring folks up on that score lately), have a safe and joyful holiday season and I hope everyone here has a great 2007. My forecast for next year includes fun, profit, love, humor and happiness. Let's all strive to make it so. I love reading about everyone bitching about me talking about my hdtv in the FAG05 thread...but half of you have hdtvs now :) And I guess my post from last year stands: I don't really have grievances. I gripe about a few things, but it's just venting, mostly. I seem a lot more unhappy than I am, because I come across as curmudgeonly. The only hate I hold in my heart is for my ex-guitar player who misled and destroyed our band with malice. Anything else is just small stuff not worthy of hatred.
So I'll just say I love all of you, though some to more or less a degree than others. I hope your holidays are safe and happy and remember to cherish those around you, even those who drive you nuts. They might not be there tomorrow.
Sorry to piss up the thread with that, but eh. It's the way I am, heh. Have a cookie. I even seem to be using "Have a cookie" again. Must be crimmas tom.

I love that I started a holiday tradition. I love that we've got so many cool people on this forum. I love that I've gotten to meet a few of you over the past year. I love that my Christmas shopping is mostly done. I love.... lamp.

I love that someone here always has an answer to my esoteric questions. Occasionally they're even right.
I love that the people here are passionate about everything... games included.
I love that developers drop by and occasionally let it slip that they're human.
Thanks to all of your for your interest, your patience, and your banter.

I love that this place has now had a prime as long as LTM's. I love Haemish's hate because it sustains me. I love that the average IQ here seems to be much, much higher than the general public (and people still have common sense, unlike in law school). I love Ironwood because he conforms to all my stereotypes of Scotsman. Finally, I love pie.

I love how almost all the F13 people seem like they'd be pretty cool to chill with offline. And those that I've met, are. I love how Schild fights The Power, even if it's occasionally ridiculous. I love my new job and city. :) I think that about exhausts my initial shipping stock of LoveStation 3s. Try again in a few months?

F13 has done more for me than any other single website, even the porn ones. Schild and crew are good people, even if they seem violent and fang-y online. Much happier and friendlier than you'd expect. Thanks for dragging me around to a few things this year, guys, would've never went otherwise.

I love the dirty WoW forum people, especially those of you kind folks that post patches when Blizzard's patch thingy has it's thumb up it's ass. I love playing Fantasy sports against those of you who participate, and shit-talking with wild abandon, often right before my hideous commupance. I love all the crazy rants and praises about the Wii, it amuses me. I love the mountains, where I will be staying for two weeks shortly.

I love wasting my time here. Alot. I've a pretty good amount of evidence to back this up. Some weeks I spend more time waiting for people to reply to my messages than playing games. I'm still not sure if this is because I enjoy the company or I've an intellectual ego fixation, but either way it'd not be possible without all of you.
I love life itself and everyone in it... but then something happens and I forget.
I love this time of year... more time to game for me!

To F13: I have learned a surprising amount from you. You've have caused me to question some of my own beliefs and re-evaluate my opinions on certain matters (important and otherwise). There is no question that the average IQ around here is much higher than the norm, and I think that more than anything keeps me coming back.
Random goodwill for people around here who stand out in my mind...
To Schild: I admire your principles, even though some of them seem strange to me. I like games, and I'm glad there are people like you around trying to keep games honest. Whatever that means.
To Haemish: Some of the same from above. Also, for your wonderfully colorful way of expressing yourself. Cuntburgers, indeed.
To Signe: You've got like a million posts on these forums, and just about every one of them is hilarious. I'm not even sure if it's intentional all the time, you're just funny whether you like it or not.
To Ironwood: Behind the gruff and moody exterior, there is a guy with a shitload of common sense and a seemingly deep concern for human-kind. I usually find myself agreeing with you despite myself. I have a feeling you probably hate me. But we'd probably get along swimmingly down at the pub.
To WUA: I get the impression that you've spent some time in the F13 dog house. Maybe you get a lot of undeserved "hate" because of some of the things you are passionate about (e.g. UO, Star Wars), but you should stick to your guns. You come up with some great comedy, too. Please do your subliminal editing thing more often.
To Sky & Stray: You get to be on the same line, because I often confuse the two of you. I'm not sure if it is because you are always saying the same things, or if it's because you're at each other throats half the time. What I do know is that I agree with Sky's stance on HDTVs, and Stray's ideas on religion. Generally.
I better stop now, so that I can go wash the taste of F13 cock out of my mouth. Happy Thingy!

Thanks for having this site guys. All of you, Schild, mods, contributors, posters, loveable and not so loveable alike. Ever since I moved back to my old hometown, I haven't had a lot of excitement and company to waste my time with. Friends here are boring or married. And to top it off, good games aren't always on tap. F13 isn't a bad alternative for these things. My days would be worse without you.
And thanks for putting up with me.

I love how much we can argue and still relatively get along. I love that Schild makes me feel less bad about how much money I spend on games. I love that this site seems to be an awesome resource for getting into betas. I love watching people call someone a fanboi in one thread, then act like a fanboi in another. I love that I can use some of the stuff I learn in the politics forums to argue with my RL friends and look smart and well researched. You guys helped me change the mind of one of my conservative friends about the Iraq war, even if you didn't know it. I love that you guys have helped me expand my repertoire of insults to hurl at people who anger me. I love how bizarre Signe is in most of her posts. Almost every post she makes causes me to snort or laugh. I love Ironwood for being Scottish and for looking like General Zod, even if he really doesn't. (I've got roots in Scotland.)

I love that SChild puts up with my distinct lack of content creation. I love the devs that actually take the time to talk with what can be a hostile audience. I love that even the "worst" arguments here aren't nearly as bad as anywhere else I visit on the internet. I love that even amongst this time of release-day patches and rush-job releases that there were still more great games than I could count on both hands this year. I love being turned onto new games and the like here. Doesn't happen anywhere else for me. I love that the general public may finally be "getting it" in terms of politics.

What little chances I have had to swing by and read, I love how the community has not only prospered, but grown. Love the fact that the site is not doomed by a soul focus on just Hate for MMOGs.
Peace to everyone and hope that joy and prosperiety are found in abundance next year by everyone.
If you have not seen the pursuit of happyness, at the very least it will give you a good look at were you are not (or hopefully not).
Best wishes!

I love everyone who bothers to post in the Comics sub-forum. I realize there are places I could go that are there specifically for discussing comics but frankly those communities are shit compared to this one. Now if only more of you fuckers had bought Nextwave.
I'm also glad that Stray came back to this site (after a short absence). I look forward to playing Age of Conan with him at some point despite the fact that I know the game will never be what he wants it to be and his time playing will result in madness.
Rather than mention the usual suspects I'd just like throw some goodwill out there to some people who have been overlooked in this thread:
Lantyssa - Apparently you've only been registered here for about a year, but you fit in so well it feels like you've been posting here the whole time. As if it wasn't enough that you like comics, your posts have also made me laugh. A lot.
Thejeni - For last year's Festivus miracle, a thread that still makes me chuckle whenever I think about it.
tazelbain - I'm not sure exactly why, but I feel the need to mention you here for some reason. You must have entertained me here somehow at some point in the past.
DarkDryad - Hasn't been active here since July, but we grouped together a few times in CoH back in the olden days so wherever he his, he gets the magical blessing of Holiday Goodwill.
That's about all I've got for now.

I love that this forum and the people in it have restored some of my faith in games and the people that play them (Not all of it, but I can actually play MMOs again for bits and pieces at a time without logging out and thinking the gaming world is populated in the main by tools of the highest order.)
I love that I can even tolerate WoW players again because of you guys.
I love WUA because he's a myopic turd burglar, knows it and doesn't care. (And because he's not here for cuddles which means he should get them even more because it'll piss his wanna-be cranky ass off)
I love Signe because she's weird and lets it fly.
I pretty much love all of you, even though you slag on my company a lot.

Merry Xmas to all, and thanks each of you for being what you are, for good or ill.
After years of wandering the desolate wastes of the inturdweb, looking for a public speaking area that wasn't rife with fan bois, children, right wing nut jobs and their hand-wringing apologist counterparts, its nice to find a space where the bar is set higher.
So thanks to the even handed moderation of the boards by Schild et. al. I wish many fun hours of gaming to compensate for the unsavory tasks this public board must present our staff from time to time.
