Anyone else see it? Anyone else feel a bit let down? I liked the story, but the music for the most part wasn't as good as the songs in the TV series. I had expected that they would mix some of their classics in with the new stuff. Spoiler: The end in particular bugged me because it was every bit the "Tribute" story but they ruined it by actually PLAYING the "greatest song in the world" instead of leaving it to the imagination. And it wasn't even that good a song. A better ending, IMO, would have been for them to hang on to the pick long enough to play "Explosivo", bring the house down with it, lose the pick, and then end the movie with an extended version of "Tribute" performed after the fact that recounts the subsequent battle.Bah. Maybe there'll be a different cut on the DVD.

It was basically an hour-twenty of the HBO show. It had misses, sure, but it had hits. The first 6 minutes are gold.
It's the prequel to the song Tribute, pretty much. The soundtrack is funny, 'specially Papagenu, Master Exploder and Beezleboss.

I just hope the DVD's have all the random clips that were released on the net as marketing. That shit was crazy funny.
Oh, and the part where he's dreaming of the pick had me pissing my pants.
