PS3 has already outsold the X-Box 360 (in Japan)

According to Famitsu 88400 PS3 have been sold in Japan in the first two days since launch. That is more than the amount of X-Box 360 that have been sold in Japan in all of 2006 (84950 as of 11.01.06)

Does this proof that the Japanese are a bit odd?

Played some Genji (which, imo, is the best looking next gen game out there), Resistance, and watched some Fifth Element.

I've yet to crack into Knight's Tale, Talladega Nights, Silent Hill, Gundam or Ridge Racer 7.

I got a good look at a PS3 last night in Target.  Reminds me of KITT, just needs a crawling light on the front.  But then the chrome would make it look like a Cylon.  It's really shiny.

The highest selling PlayStation 3 title was Namco Bandai’s Ridge Racer 7, with Media Create quoting total sales of just 21,655, less than Enterbrain’s estimate of around 30,000. Namco Bandai’s Kidou Senshi Gundam: Target in Sight (aka Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire) was agreed to be the second best selling title of the launch, although in a busier week neither would have been likely to chart in the top ten.
