I've also begun using cheats to finish games I might not otherwise finish. I've been using one in Gothic 2, and I really enjoyed godmode in Far Cry. In FC, rather than invulnerable, you just didn't die. So you'd take damage, you could wear armor, etc. But if you suddenly got jumped and would've died, it just resets your health and increments a number onscreen, so you could keep track of how many times you would've died without godmode. That was godmode done right, you could still play the game and try to keep from 'dying', get armor powerups, etc.

I think it's out. It's on top of the 'when I get a new pc' list. I'll be getting it early next year, along with the Marvel game and other such fun things.

I haven't cheated since the Super Nintendo. And even then, it was only to unlock colors and vs. before the code appeared for Street Fighter II. Down, R, Up, L, Y, B, Select, Start.

Edit: You jokers can go make a Gothic 3 thread.

What jokers?  Where?  Why are you calling us names?  We are your loving f13 children.   Aren't we?   undecided

Anyway, I'm sure someone who is not me and obviously not you will when the game comes next month.

Devil May Cry - Unopened.
How can you call yourself a PS2 gamer and not even have played DMC?
One decent mindless action game with some of the crappiest dialogue and voice acting I've ever heard, followed by two dull rehashes.  Yeah, it's a real shame he's missing out on that.

Eternal Darkness: Bad game.

I think it's best if we start seeing other people.

It would be easier to list the games that I have actually finished.  New Sam+Max, KotOR, Jade Empire, Seed, Thief 1+2, Fallout, Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, both Katamari, Paper Mario: TTYD, Super Mario World, Blaster Master, Super Metroid, Grandia III, HL1+2, King Arthur's World, Adventure, Pac-Man, D2LOD, Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, Ratchet & Clank 1-4, God of War, Atelier Iris 1+2, GTA 3-5, AvP2, Dungeon Siege, Final Fantasy 1,4,6,7,8,9.

There are a few more but I imagine everyone has stopped reading at this point.

Why am I homeless?  Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question.

I think I have finished <10 games in my life. I tend to get bored or distracted by some new shiny before completion. I think that last one I finished was Diablo, and that was just because I was trapped in a hotel room in Marina Del Rey for 6 weeks training for work.

I'm a completest. I can count the PC games I've seriously played but *haven't* beaten on one hand.

Morrowind Elder scrolls -- One of the biggest wastes of money, ever.
VTM: Bloodlines -- Got to near the end, it bugged, I lost interest
GalCiV II -- I'd like to beat this, eventually, but the single player campaign is so boring!
Lego Star Wars 2 -- Meh, it was kind of nifty and then I lost interest.

The 'completed games list' is much, much longer, though I tend to uninstall the games once I've beaten them.

I remember compiling "Games Beaten" lists back in grade/middle school consisting of mainly NES games (only one friend had a Sega but  he also had a doberman..).  It was massive.
