I wonder if Reuters is implying something with this story.

Local agencies said they charge anywhere from $200 an hour for a little company in a delegate's hotel room; rates at national agencies can be five times that much.

Several sex workers said political conventions were often particularly lucrative. Democratic organizers wanted to point out that many delegates are bringing their families.

"This really is a G-rated event," said DNC spokeswoman Mariellen Burns.

Of course, there's a bit of biased implication here.  I can't really say that a RNC convention would neccessarily pull any less interest by such colorful services.    Personally, I'm wondering what pocket ABC may be in, to cause them to choose to pick up this particular Routers story.   Their other choices are no less biased.

Probably just the prostitutes that cannot afford to go to Athens for the Olympics. Shagging an athlete for money is probably more fun than the same with a DNC representative.

Well, Ted Kennedy WILL be there.

You have to go where your best customers are.

I traded in my fun blog for several legal blogs. Or, "blawgs," as the cutesy attorney blawgosphere likes to call 'em.

Given that the RNC is a bit of a non-event with a Republican incumbent, the DNC comes under more of a microscope. Same thing happened with Dole and the RNC in 1996.

On the whole, the GOP tends to be a bit more conservative (or at least discreet) when it comes to this sort of thing. The influence of the religious right has that effect.

But it's pretty funny to hear you accuse ABC of being biased against the Democrats....really it is. Saying CNN is slanted to the left, or that Fox is slanted to the right...those I understand. But to imply that the network that created the monster of fucktardery known as Sam Donaldson is biased against the left is laughable.

Bring the noise.

RNC prostitutes in Google reveals that republicans make good johns as well.  Also, they consume a fair bit of porn.

No one wins in a war of mud.
